that is really an amazing piece of work

i know this is prob going to get overlooked and not answered since its going to be right under a masterpiece, but i have a few wire transfer questions for the wsop:

1. what is the best casino to wire money to?
2. is there a limit? (I assume no)
3. how long does the wire take?
4. if i wire it a week or whatever before i get there, will that be cool and i can just walk up to the cage and say give me my money please i sent it here a week ago?

the one where you're going to use it, they can be a pain about trying to make you play the money in their casino
2. is there a limit? (I assume no) no
3. how long does the wire take?
if you're sending from inside the us, 1-2 business days, not sure about international but almost certainly not more than a week
4. if i wire it a week or whatever before i get there, will that be cool and i can just walk up to the cage and say give me my money please i sent it here a week ago?
yup, but if you'll stress about it less you can call the cage before you make the transfer to make sure. you'll probably want to contact them anyway to be sure you have the most up to date wiring instructions

hope this helps.

1. The Rio just hands you cash, u can take it where ever you want. I called the Bellagio about it last year, they would just give you chips.

juuust fwiw i didnt send any silly pms about anything and am catching up on thread now, but would u be interested in 6-8 tabling some 25-50? i find it hard to get good HU matches, and i think it would be fun.

Same friend said similar things about maserati in general but wasn't as sure. anyone who knows about cars have an opinion?
gran turismo 0-60 5.2 secs can suck my balls, maseratis are ******edly overpriced as far as performance goes. as far as the gallardo, not all are created equal. the twin turbo is obv pretty ridic, but a gallardo spyder or whatever is pretty weak. the bentley is super awesome, and of these choices is the best, but cts has one and u dont wanna copy him now do you?

I really was hoping this would become a CR vs Deucescracked duel in which Raptor crushes your soul in the CR video which lesson is why calling 4bets with KJo is bad.

while i have a hard time agreeing with anything stealthmunk says because of how he chooses to present himself and his history, his points about CR seems undeniable to me. i'm not agreeing with him as far as calling out GP, krantz etc because i certainly don't fault them for what they're doing. if anything i have to single out the fake GP for props for how amazingly successful his business has been. but you can't deny that cardrunners etc are obviously the 2nd worst thing to ever happen to online poker.

i think it would be embarrassing to be a part of an instructional video company and NOT think you're doing something that's very bad for online poker (if online poker means "currently winning players who don't need videos to be winner")
05-11-2008 , 03:34 PM
wrt poker training sites, if Taylor didn't start the trend of successful online training sites somebody else would have. It was bound to happen, so I really don't see the need to single him out personally.

Does nobody see the irony of people decrying cr/dc while posting on 2+2?
05-11-2008 , 03:41 PM
I am not saying that I like my opponents playing better (obv) but I think that it is intellectually dishonest to call coaching sites a bad thing for online poker.

A smaller talent discrepancy between great players and average players results in it taking average players a longer time to go broke. If it takes players longer to go broke they will play more poker. If there is a large talent discrepancy between the top players and everyone else the money will all quickly flow to the top players and the top players will cash out some of that money. More people playing more poker is obviously good for the health of the online poker industry. Less people taking money out of the poker economy is obviously good for the health of the online poker industry. Therefore, it is hard to dispute that coaching sites are good for online poker

Twoplustwo has educated many more people than all of the poker training sites combined. How exactly is it way different?
