pretty sure theres gonna be some kind of prelude show called ''caprica'' and we see the guy who basically invented them... so I doubt it. Although I heard your theory before. And it would kinda make sense, some people say thats why that Dualla did what she did. She understood it all when she picked up that stuff on the planet in the sand.

ps: we should prob start using spoilers or something

how can you possibly think that chelsea is the club to be at the moment?
chelsea is ****ed. abramowitsch is poor, the players are old and their contracts run out and will probably leave when the club can't spend money like before.

also... gerrard will never leave liverpool and you gotta love him for that.

I said that he should have gone when he had the chance, ie after they won the league, they still did get to the champions league final last year, and finished second, wow how short sighted people are, in the 1995-96 title race, Man utd were 12 points behind Newcastle in January and they came back to beat them, don't rule Chelsea out of this race, they will more than likely finish above Liverpool.....Oh and i am not a Chelsea Fan...UTD UTD UTD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

QFT, my roommate watches that show and not only he is a huge nerd, but once he had it on in the main room while I was eating and my god the show was unbearable to watch. Despite me sitting in front of the tv I was looking out the window until my meal was done.

first off, united fan as well. but i think to say chelsea will finish above liverpool is short sighted. i think in a few years liverpool will be way ahead of chelsea, when they just might be an average premier league team.
and i'm not saying that because i hate chealsea. i actually love them because of ballack, lampard and terry.

I love reading this thread, but whenever there is football chat in it, it's painful.

Shockingly people who are experts in high stakes poker are not experts in other fields.

Liverpool fans are hilarious. Winning the champs league, and never even coming close to winning the prem in the last 10 years is far worse of a statement of talent than what any of the other 3 teams have done. Arsenal has won the league a few times and come in 2nd in champs. Chelsea same. Man utd has won champs twice and the league a bajillion times. Liverpool is the fourth best team in England over the last 8 years, and I can't see an argument against that. I like them because of Torres and Gerrard, and Benayoun is my mainest man, but they need to win the ****ing premiership if they want to be considered a world class team. They also are the absolute worst in signing players.

depends on how you define average imo. i wouldn't really call any of the big 4 in england average. the premier league is just way ahead of other leagues, even spain or italy.

and if you call liverpool an ordinary team right now the only real good ones are barcelona and united.

also. betting on this would be so arbitrary.

ballack has to be one of the most overrated players. he really is not that good. playing in the center mid, one must be able to see plays a few plays in advance...ballack is always one behind.

he's not as good a player as deco, but you see who's starting...
he has a lot of other qualities which you can't really put into categories like technique or whatever.

oh, also... i'm german =)
02-08-2009 , 03:19 PM
lol hes so much better than deco are you crazy.

Deco is the one who is very overrated.
02-08-2009 , 03:22 PM
i'm just talking about things like technique, passing game, creating chances etc. what makes him one of the best players and valueable for the team are other qualities, which lovedemdeuces seems to think of as untypical or unimportant for center players.

Are you the recallme of soccer discussion in HSNL?
02-08-2009 , 03:48 PM
it may be better than being empiremaker2 in poker AND soccer discussion.

btw, using the gayest ronaldo picture you could possibly find as your avatar disqualifies you imo.
although he's obv the greatest player atm.

you're being a bit harsh on liverpool ansky. they are <3 pts off man u even with torres having been out for most of the season, AND they definitely have the worst coach of any world class club atm. squad depth is probably their #1 problem right now and he goes and sells keane back at a loss half a season after they bought him purely out of stubbornness. i mean did you see who started yesterday? it was 6 defenders, a DM, two pseudo wingers and ngog who's scored 0 (i think) premiership goals lifetime as their loan striker.

it's hard to rate anyone from the chelsea squad this season since nobody on the team has looked like they give a **** besides lamps. i mean, it's a team full of 30-somethings that aren't ryan giggs so that's their problem right there really.

edit: not sure what i or anyone else is trying to achieve with this talk either really, whatever. it's not like anyone is ever going to argue that man u ARENT the richest club in the world managed by the best manager in history.
