Are high stakes players allowed to run it 2 or 3 times in rio wsop? Assume in nl high stakes are 10/20 and above?

Yes, if both players agree to it you can run as many times as you want usually

I think it's technically not allowed although all the dealers will do it if players ask. I heard a few stories of guys getting angled really hard doing this last yr so be careful. ex: you and a guy agree to run it twice....he wins first board, you win second.....now he says he never agreed to run it twice, floor comes over and rules it's not allowed so first board stands.

they let you do what you want if youre paying a timed rake. they dont let you RIT when each pot is being raked.

every single year players get scammed running it twice or making side chop deals at wsop. dont do it. making a side deal outside the rules with a RANDOM is a bad play. (conversely in your home casino with known regs its basically required)

So is the problem 1. Dealers and floor aren't familiar w rules where players exploit or 2. Dealers and floor are sketchy and side w certain individuals? Because running it 2x or 3x is allowed in the rules for timed games. Just by feedback I'm deciding to only run it 1x to avoid scammers. I've been more concerned w teams at these stakes at wsop w such few tables. My experience is if a person is going to scam running it 2x they are likely doing other sketchy/shady antics. It's too bad but it makes playing higher games while on road less appealing.

Limon, This reminds me of a somewhat recent trip at commerce playing 10/20 where after playing for 20 minutes 2 people bounced back and forth from 10/20 to 20/40 and then half the table took a break to discuss staking someone in a bigger short handed PLO game. The game was like an uber friendly thinking nits wanna be grinders session.

at the wsop youll probably have a dealer who started work yesterday. good luck getting them to take a stand or describe the action correctly.

commerce is a very "opportunistic" place. lotsa super rich fish stumble in there and many of the the regs cant afford to play the stakes they want so there is a lot of backing, swapping, sharing deals. pretty much like the one off big full ring games that go online.
