Why isn't this thread in nvg? The Chino Rheem thread is there, so why wouldn't this one be? Make an objective decision mods. They've both proven to have at least slightly the same scumbag characteristics, so they deserve to be in the same group of threads.

so, uh, he's had at least two big cashes over the last few weeks - Has he made any effort to pay back anyone?

iirc, people were arguing earlier in the thread whether erik was a viable candidate to back for tournaments so that he get back up on his feet, pay everyone back and, move on from this once and for all. hopefully he's taken steps in doing this

Or maybe he just dropped his share of the tourney winnings betting on SAS or something

get staked obviously. 90% of MTT regs are staked. For all we know Erick may not be taking home a dime from his wins. Not trying to defend him, just saying that winning live poker tournaments does not necessarily translate to having money that one can use to pay ppl back

well considering ur friend made an epically douchey comment I'd guess they either have history or Eric is an excellent judge of character. like I've said I've never seen Eric be anything but extremely friendly towards everyone and tbh ur friend kinda seems like a douche so who knows.

ITT: HSNL definition of "messed up": going several million dollars into debt through a series of loans and making wagers that you had no intention of paying.

Example: damn, Howard and Ray Bitar really messed up.

I also like the logic that he would happily steal 2m that was sent to him but a hostile time of voice against a slow to post player? Impossible! Make a comment about him not honoring his debts? Douchebag sighted, 10 o'clock!
