Except that the method of putting it on 2p2 has been shown to be really successful over the years in regards to recovering debts. At least in comparison to doing basically nothing, which pretty much never works.

Erick hasn't paid back tons of people from well before this. Did you read the thread? He owes Haralobos like infinity dollars from years ago. They weren't getting a damn thing by just sitting around doing nothing.

The chances of them being paid as a result of this thread could not possibly have gone down. Plus now they get to hopefully stop someone else from getting scammed by him.

Not to mention, one guy DID get paid ALREADY because of this thread.

Ok last view on psychology from me I promise... And this is not my opinion this is psychology... Last time I try and help internet strangers.. Here goes

In gambling we can know someone for decades without knowing anything about them as gamblers lie for a living... (in poker anyways) I bluff all day.. I make sure not to park near casino in a rental car while Lexus is in shop for fear it will hurt my image, I make sure I look well kept even if I've been awake for 3 days so people don't think I'm grinding 5 casinos a day, and I don't talk about the same things when playing home games with 80 year old millionaires as I do with south Florida gangsters... So basically the lesson is... The only thing I care about when talking about gamblers in the gamblers circle is my image... my image makes me money.. and my image can cost me money.. whatever I have to do to portray an image that earns me money at the poker tables I will do it..
If I owe you money from a year ago and I see you I will get out of that room before you see me and sneak up behind you giving you the money before you even get a chance to say hi.

But if you go and air our business to the world and made it hard for me to survive... well then I just say Fk you you are too stupid to deal with,, as you have just made it harder for me to make the money that I need to make to pay you back...

If this has somehow gone over everyone's head a third time then hey... it is what it is and I will crawl back to my little 1% of reality that my people think is obviously normal and leave you to bang your head for eternity saying why why why...

If I gave you my real name and you googled it you would find you already have heard of me. beat cancer, own many businesses, gamble high stakes, and think before I speak.

although I admit that 80% of the time I speak I am wrong I still occasionally get out of line and try to educate the headbangers.

We appreciate a scammer giving us lessons on psychology. You can go away now. We'll go back to not scamming people and protecting the poker community as much as we can so we don't have to worry about these types of issues.

I assure you that 2p2 has seen far more scammers and welchers during it's time online than you have in your life. Threads on here have been extremely successful in getting money back for people that once seemed completely hopeless. Not to mention the obvious benefit that we have prevented future scammings from those involved.

If you want to just keep blabbering nonsense coming from a guy who won't pay back his debts, have fun. Nobody is listening, and they have no reason to.

my rep on here is not a huge concern to me and I am not trying to downplay the seriousness of Lindgren's debts. I certainly never "cheated anyone" and I have far more owing me money than the 2 that I "owe". They would have gotten double from me if not for making our business public. If I weren't a stand up guy I would have had to leave the state but people that I deal with know there is more to the story then what these 2 guys say.

Back to this thread I really hope it works out for you guys and I truly was just taking another angle on this as I thought it may be helpful to have 1 voice going against the grain. Erick's twitter hasn't slowed down as he played LAPC I noticed... maybe he is actually financially fine as I've heard mentioned and really just wont pay. GL all

If you were a stand up guy, you would have paid everyone back instead of looking for excuses to not do so. If you were a stand up guy, you would apologize for making them air the debts publicly to get you to pay them back. But, you are NOT.

Disagree with decisions not to pay back the guy he owes when he can but I don't think his points should be completely ignored as lots of people consider principle > than $, especially if they're wealthy.

Regardless, what captured my interest most is the book he mentioned bc of personal relevance. My grandfather who is a very successful, well respected & extremely honest businessman that started from nothing recommended it to me a few years ago as the most important book he's ever read in his life. I immaturely didn't follow up but seeing this mentioned reminded it to me & I'm going to.

2+2's standard operating procedure for going after scummy people is very effective & worthwhile, especially in this day & age of the internet, but there are bound to be instances where it backfires bc someone wants to be a jerk to make a point. I'll also say that being a jerk to make a point can backfire really ***** hard.

Edog's situation is an extraordinarily extreme case & obv a lot of people could have been saved if this **** was put out in the open earlier. Thankfully it is, otherwise it'd continue. Having said that, alot of the people who didn't out Edog did so for selfish reasons to keep the fish in action & took a calculated risk that's probably going to backfire.

Nice to see an objective reader/poster. If you buy/download the CD set of ” how to win friends and influence people” you will never get enough. Actually truly enjoyable stuff.and if you really try the stuff it always works. Like magic.
