Draw vs aggro Villain Draw vs aggro Villain

Villain raised me off two hands yet, both were 3bet pots. Once on the flop in the other hand on the turn after a second barrel.
He was 30/22 over 50 hands

What`s my turn plan? Is my bet too small?

your turn plan is clearly folding, why do you even ask? you have too shallow stack to make a 8 outer fishing profitable

He's got roughly 1700 left if he calls the turn, that's plenty to justify this call, since I would expect villain to bet 100% of rivers with his line.

less than 20% to hit the straight on the river, he should winning 2000 everytime he calls the 400 to make the call + ev (i consider his chance of winning when he doesnt hit near to zero since villian should get disconnected to fold to a river push

and, 4 of the 8 outs would probably slow villian from puttin more money in the pott

what are you putting the villain on to say this? KQ?

calling sucks badly here, its either a shove or fold, and without a good read its better to fold.

he needs to fold roughly 50% of the time to make a turn shove profitable fwiw. he also needs to be betting 1200 or greater on river about 50% of the time to show a profit just calling (which I think he prob does).

This does not account for the small chance he has 57 and u both hit the 6

hm... I wonder if he views u as "very aggro"?!?!

id prolly shove here, bc I am annoyed by villain, but thats obv not the greatest reasoning...

i generally like to shove tho, when i think he plays pretty aggro and laggy in general but hasnt done much yet against me early in a session. its more likley theyr bluffing, and you get more credit.

Okay on turn, after his raise there's ~1300 in the pot. Only need 700 from him on river to make this +ev. Read the thread wrong first time, thought you were the aggressive one, not your opponent. Yeah shove sounds good.

i don't like the turn bet tbh....aggro fishies aren't going anywhere...keep the pot small til you know you've got them...then pounce. easy fold now.

I like C/R a lot more on this turn esp against an aggro villain
