Defending KJo in BB Defending KJo in BB

Mods, please let me be!

I'm not a high stakes or midstakes player, but I got really curious I just wanted throw a question out there to high stakes regs. I posted a question on SSNL about playing KJo in the BB defending against a CO and Button Raise against like a 20/18 (i know 20/18s come in different varieties), and the responses I got from a lot of the posters there were to fold PF. This isn't how the ballas do it up here, is it?

thanks for quick responses.

So calling is not a good option? I think I read a post about a winner here playing AJ in BB against cts with deep stacks (and he ended up flopping top pair) and some respected posters were saying how 3-betting in that spot was bad and calling was better (even though AJ is not KJ). Why is that? is it just because he was playing against cts?

they were very deep and cts is very good. for 100bb reraising wouldn't be as bad in Ansky's spot there.

I wouldn't invest too much energy in defending KJo. He sounds like an a-hole. I don't think you should either. Since we're on topic already, what would you rather have when 3-betting a BTN open, KJo, 88, 75s, or A3s. What would you rather have if you were durrrr? What if the BTN was Krantz and you knew he had power aces and wouldn't 4-bet?

ill drop it after this.

so, if you're 200bb+ deep, is calling ok here? or still reraise/fold (except against a sicko like muckemsayuhh)?
