Cap waiting list on stars ? Cap waiting list on stars ?

English is not my first language.

I think stars should atleast cap the waiting player to 10 persons so when the fish look at the lobby, he dont think he is a target.

Whats the point of having 35 player on waiting list at mid/high stakes when the games breaks when the part time player bust/leave ?

as the days goes, the waiting list wont go down, its the natural evolution of the industry.

So there should be a waiting list to the waiting list?

Sure, it would be nice, but what's the point of waiting lists if you can't get on there in the first place?

And bumhunters are always first if someone joins and most of them have software for that.

Make must-move games

wtf`???

i think wls should not limited to an amount of players. the fish will also know that he is the fish if their are 10 people waiting.

and sometimes you get to pay as player nr. 11. because fish plays really long everybody from place 1-10 is afk ore gone now. if one leaves you oftn got a seat even placed relative wore in wl. and i also see no point in limiting wls. you can also say do it like ongame no wl at all. thats the worst stuff ever imo.

totally agree with OP, no need to have more than 10 ppl on the wl

+1 to op in the meantime. it shouldn't even have to be a rule, bc getting on a waitlist of 10+ in the first place is idiotic.

There are several problems:
1) people would just sit out.

I think the solution to that is whoever has played the most hands is first on the list, rather than going by time. This can make staying at the table exploitable if you want to stay, but the way to exploit that is sitting out at a profitable table, so there's already an inherent downside in most situations. If there's a tie for # of hands dealt in, obv first to join the wait list gets the nod. Perhaps some rule that 90% of hands = 100% of hands to allow for breaks without penalty?

2) Is every table a must-move? I think the way to handle this would be whenever a wait list gets over 13 players for a 9 max game, or 9 players for a 6 max game, a must-move table is created (or perhaps 3+ people on the wait list need to select "create must-move" first?) and the other game becomes a main game. 5 minute timer starts. At the end of 5 minutes, if 5/9 or 4/6 players are dealt into a hand, the players that didn't show/play are cleared from the list, and the must-move is officially started. If the minimum number of players don't show, the list reverts to normal.

if you cap the waiting list people will just make software that waits to get on it for you

hmm idk, bodog has no waitlists now, and the bumhunters are not at all happy about this. imo the bumhunting had decreased quite a bit.

doesn't matter imo... the chance that soemone gets a seat as 10th on a wl with big fish is <5% anyways and

the main reason why I don't like big wl is that it makes it kinda obv that ppl try to play certain fish (and I disagree with ppl saying that every fish knows he is the fish in MS/HS)
