1. Villain is unknown, but he`s sitting all the time we were together at this table with these stacks, so i think he`s a donk.
Stats like 35/15/1.2

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $10/$20
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $1970
UTG+1: $2198
CO: $2089
Button: $1207.35
SB: $1950
BB: $2555

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with A K
[color:#cc0000]Hero raises to $70, 2 folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: J 5 2 ($280, 4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: A ($280, 4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, [color:#cc0000]Hero bets $220, Button calls, 2 folds.

River: K ($720, 2 players)

The potsize on river really sux. Is this a easy bet/call or is anyone trying sth weired like 350/fold? I doubt he would bluffraise river and it`s unlikely that he`s now value raising much worse, or?
c/c best?

Huh? Just try to get value from Ax... obviously call any raise given the odds you'll get.

The second part of your answer is the reason i post this one

It would probably help your game if you didn't overthink situations like this.

when are you gonna stop posting hands. someone tell him to stop posting hands its so brutal

I like the bet 300 fold line. I dont think he pushes two pair on you on this river after just calling on the turn. Not this sort of passive fish player.

For those saying its an easy bet/call, consider that passive fish like players are going to go for that smooth call/push on river line with a lot of very strong hands, and arent as likely to take those lines with two pair hands. If he thought his two pair was good on the turn he would have raised then, but most likely, he's just calling your river bet with a weaker two pair.

I respectfully disagree. I think bet/fold is the worst line you can take on this river. Not betting the river is bad. Folding with top 2 on this board getting better than 2-1 is bad...therefore bet/call is the only line that makes sense. You're advocating a very exploitable method of play.

Correct. Its exploitable. But I dont think this is the sort of player to go around and exploit it. And thats why it might be a good line. But I think its very close and I can see a strong argument for bet/call. I think checking is the worse line to take. You miss a ton of value by doing that.

_Gabe_ and spino1i,

That's 3 posts too many. Allow me to present a simple checklist:

[x] Top two pair
[x] Fish in hand
[x] <100 BB
[ ] Hand requires thought

I know you're half-joking...but...every NLHE poker hand is worthy of discussion, that's what makes the game great. There is always an absolute best play but it's rarely as self-evident as 99% of the posters on this site seem to think it is.

3 years ago people could post hands and every street would be discussed in detail...now it's far more likely to get 3 pages of posts saying...DUH PUSH...or something equally profound.

it does not follow that you should value your hands stronger just because its a fish. Espically not at these stakes where your standard "fish" is different than say at 2/4 NL.
