This hand happened a couple of days ago and its bothering me. Not a standard play whatsoever but I would like some feedback from the regs...

Opponent is a huge PLO fish however I have never seen him playing NLH I usually dont play this high however I figured this guy was taking a shot and had his roll on the table so I midas well take it right???

He is sitting down with $3173 and I cover. We have been heads up for about 20 minutes and this hand comes up...for the most part weve been playing pre flop grab ass. He has been either raising then folding to 3 bets or just folding pre. Hasent taken a stand until this hand.

Im on the button with K9, he makes it $300, I re-raise to $700, he calls.

I check, he leads for $500 I call??

I check, he checks.

I check, he bets $800 I call.

As a plo fish he is more likely to believe he is bluffing with a-high rather than v-betting. His v-betting range is massive on this board but his bet-calling range is fairly narrow.

Folding on all streets > Shoving river > Calling river.

its not the call im questioning...how many are putting in a raise here. note that this guy is primarly a omaha player which is why im hesitant in putting a raise in here.

Why would that change the fact that you're miles ahead of his range and need to valueraise your straight all day?

No, he's obviously not calling with less than an 8, so you get stacked by better and fold out worse. This would be a terrible spot to bluff...
