This hand is at a shallow table but were about 140bb effective. The villan is a maniac, and the fish at the table. This is the only hand I played with him, and i remember I saw him go crazy vs someone else so I decided to check/call him 3 streets. Hes playing 81/34/3.85 with a 3bet of 8.

Pre Flop: ($30.00) Hero is UTG with A K
Hero raises to $40, 2 folds, BTN calls $40, SB calls $30, 1 fold

Flop: ($140.00) A Q 7 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $80, SB folds, Hero calls $80

Turn: ($300.00) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $230, Hero calls $230

River: ($760.00) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1210, Hero calls $1210

Final Pot: $3180.00
BTN shows T 2 (two pair, Sevens and Twos)
Hero shows A K (two pair, Aces and Sevens)
Hero wins $3177.00
(Rake: $3.00)

Heres the hand in question. Its 2 or 3 orbits after the other hand:

would he play made hands or thin hands the same way?

call it

his value range is way too small (pair of 8's + at best) and his bluffing range is massive given how he played t2o

edit: sucks hes potting it this time tho

Preflop sizing sucks, especially with these stacksizes. Stop caring about the regs gaining a few bb/100 edge on you if you telegraph your handstrenght pre. It allows you to gain a monstrous edge over the fish that you'll end up playing postflop 80%+ of the time.
