another question: not being sarcastic or anything, but why doesn't anyone say fold PF? i'm assuming it is because the OP is good enough to show a profit playing hands like J8s?

he was opening a ton of hands and i had a solid image. i figured the likelyhood of him having a hand that can call a reraise out of position not very high and if he calls we are a little deep, i have position and a very disguised hand. but obviously most of the time i fold these type of hands preflop against a raise

i saw results, but i agree with krantz. im torn between shoving and underbetting on river.

what do you guys think of Nenad's river check OOP?
considering if he shoves we will fold most (or all) worse hands and call with all better check is the only thing he can do.

pot control is correct and if he shoves turn i snapcall cuz he can have a lot of draws my raise looks like a (semi)bluff and i cannot see him checking a strong hand like a set twice on this dangerous board
My next question is what kind of hand were you putting him on after the call PF(pre)?

i would probably call with worse 2pairs than AQ if he open shoved river..

i wouldnt have called a river shove with my hand. AJ would be close.
to be honest hes a big donkey so its very hard to put him on any hand preflop. after he call my turn raise i thought a weak made hand with some outs was likely, QT,JT,J9, TT, 99, KQ type comes to mind

i dunnu if its just me , but usually i dont think its a good idea to threebet a donkey preflop with J8s.

why not, i might have him dominated!

That's my point. Wouldn't it be the good play to bet your pair in position on the flop?

obviously i saw the results, but i don't like a bet here against nenad. QK and QT might be calling you, but it might not be. there isn't a whole lot else that he calls a reraise preflop with, bet/calls a raise on the turn with, that doesn't beat a bad 2pair by the river.

Nenad is too loose and a bit passive, but betting this river is just trying to get way too fancy, imo.

If the river was a total blank, I think I like a bet a lot more. I realize how results oriented this sounds. But, without the ace, Nenad could easily put OP on AK or TK, and possibly make a hero call. It's pretty hard to (profitably) make a hero call with this final board, and I think nenad knows that.

a little late, but ty
my plan was to shove a blank river, since i really thought im ahead. i still thought i was ahead after that ace hit but not by much and the ace makes it more difficult for him to call me with just 1 pair so i checked it down.

Why raise the turn? If you checked behind on flop for PC why not just call turn bet and play river accordingly.

like they said, you're going to get called only by a better hand or maybe 7s or 6s but no action for rags

I thought nenad was a top NL player? Has he just been loose since his big tourney win? Is nenad 'serb2347' or whatever on ub / stars?
