just sat down about an orbit prior to this hand, i'm in seat 1, not much info on anyone as i don't play here regularly, except that seat 3 is a huge calling station and knows nothing about the game(donk) stack: ~$2400, seat 9 is an older lady who is also a huge fish stack: ~$2k, and seat 7 is a tag middle eastern man(MEM) who i should probably stay away from stack: ~$2700. i have roughly $1500 as i just sat down.

i'm in the sb with 9 6. donk limps, seat 5 limps, MEM limps, old lady limps, i complete and bb checks.

flop : 7 8 10

hero checks, donk bets $60, MEM raises to $160, old lady calls $160, hero raises to $480. donk folds, MEM tanks, asks how much i have left, i have $1,005. he says i raise, $1,005 more. old lady tanks and folds. hero ???

also is the c/r to $480 bad? i have to call after raising that much?

snap call...he doesn't have j9....prob a set or if he's terrible top two...and if he does have j9 o well that sucks...but just seems like a strange line with j9 you raised him if he has j9 in a multiway pot he probably knows you have a strong hand and are not raising with like AdKd so if he has j9 it makes more sense to c raise and c/r turn to get you even more pot committed than you already are...even though your probably shoving turn if you raise in thats pot on flop

i ended up folding but what about my raise size? am i better off flatting and playing the turn accordingly? even if i get it in how far ahead am i? this hand was just so fishy, im missing a couple of minor details like a couple more callers preflop. and i went in the tank and middle eastern guy called the clock on me after about 45 seconds. it was just weird. he ended up tabling J9.
