Seriously dude, at least move your insults over to the LC thread instead of derailing Primo's well...it makes you look like a total ******.

Why isn't this guy banned already?

I haven't seen one post of his which adds any worthwhile content to any thread.

He is just trolls any thread which takes his fancy.

mement_mori = youcanhaveitall, it's not like he tries to hide it.

I don't know who spamz is, but I'm pretty curious.

As for on topic, primo, skipping my questions is -EV.

What kind of games did you want to program? (my favorite kind to code would be web-based, like duels.com )

Did you ever think about going to Full Sail? I used to live 1/4 mile from there.

Spamz crushes souls and plays anywhere between 200 and 1k turbos.

1. Just have to learn from it, look back over the HHs and find the spots they are exploiting you in, do you really think they had the hand every time they bet you off one? did they get you to call every time you had a worse one, find out where they are winning most of their chips, and think about ways to counter-act that. Grow from those kinds of games, especially if you played a few games vs the same guy, don't feel bad about it at all. Everybody has to start somewhere

2. Nothing dude, honestly, from when you started you've grown a ton, you had your one night of moving up limits and blowing a bit that way, but that kind of thing is stuff everybody experiences when starting to try to take the game seriously, etc., and something everybody needs to learn from. I'm sure you wont make that mistake in the future, and if that's the case, the cost was well worth the lesson learned

Btw, Ive just started taking lessons from Primo, and had no idea he was only 21. Im honestly kinda embarassed someone so much younger than me has such noticeably better self (tilt) control
Congrats on all your success, and keep up the good work

Thx a ton

Should a up & rising NL100 hu player like me should switch to HU SNG since games are getting much tougher at NL HU cash?

And for how long do you think you'll be able to make a living playing hu sngs?

haha, I know alot more now than I did then, I probably had some superstar ability 2 years ago that 2p2 squeezed out of me and made me a straightforward-ABC robot, but I still think i'd whoop him

This 15 yr old is struggling to be motivated to do school h/w when he is making pretty good money just playing part time (it beats his mates jobs for $10 p/h at mcdonalds lol) and has hopes for possibly playing full time in a few more yrs where he thinks he could make triple or quadruple that if he puts in the volume. This 15yr old, still cares about school, because he thinks u need a backup if poker never works out but right now poker is looking too good to worry about school and is lacking the motivation. HELP
highschool is EZ, just finish up and keep playing, be smart w/your $$$, if u have 50k+ saved up and are still making solid monthly income after HS, take some time off before college, you can always go to college afterwards, if u end up finding it's not for you, are irressponsible, can't be smart w/your $$$, this career might not be ur best choice and u might wanna keep it as a side income. The beauty of being 15 is that you have a TON of time to feel it out and decide. Take the summer breaks as a good chance to put in extra volume and see if you can handle it

wow dunno how I missed this

Web based games would be sweet and fun, but I had always dreamed of working at blizzard (obv) or going with a cool startup.

I thought about going to digi-pen (like full sail but harder to get into I believe), went out there and viewed the campus, etc., but their campus was a parking lot in like a corporate structure, and I still REALLY wanted to wrestle / be athletic in college, wasnt rdy to give it up, so I decided i'd do a grad program there if I wanted to.

Have you ever tried Cog Dissonance's "limping style"...and what is your opinion about this unconventional style? Pros/Cons?

Primo, I haven't posted in this thread yet as I can't think of any questions for you!

I just wanted to say congrats on the marriage, and I wish you all the luck in the world for your continued success at the HU SNGs.

Oh, and feel free to short-stack me at HU cash again any time

Don't know enough about the HU Cash economy to really be able to comment

And for how long do you think you'll be able to make a living playing hu sngs?

I don't see it stopping ever tbh, I just don't see how the game can become unprofitable if you are good at it

back in the day I spent like 500 games either limping 100% of my buttons of MR'ing 100% of my buttons just to get a better feel for post-flop spots, the style, how to adapt, etc.

I think the style is great vs players you have a big edge on (obv he does vs most $50-ish players), but the higher you go up, and the higher average skill level of your opp, the less I LOVE it, but at low stakes it's awsome

edit: but also might hold you back a bit from learning some other spots in a more conventional style, but as long as your a solid player it won't matter too much
