I had my major BR at FT. I was a $55's hu sng's regular player when FT license was suspended(starting from $5's games) and poker was my main source of income. I didn't played a single hand after june 29th. What do you recommend me, start grinding on other site (ex.stars) from lower games or waiting to see what's gonna happen with FT?
Did you ever felt that your social life is affected by poker?
How much time was needed for you to jump from midstakes($50-$100's) to $300's+ games?
How many hours on average do you play per week?
I'll be taking a break from online poker. If FTP comes back, I'll be snap withdrawing everything, and as a US player will likely not be allowed to play. I'd recommend you move on to a new site at least in the meantime.
Poker has a massive effect on social life and you have to be really careful about that balance.
It took me forever to move up from $100s to $300+, it was a big mental block from me. Once I hit $100k profit lifetime I was able to just go do it but I probably cost myself a lot of money by waiting until then. Thanks to filthyvermin for bankrolling my early higher stakes efforts and getting me to see that I would have success playing higher, that had a big impact.
Average hours per week varied a ton over time, as many as 40/week in a month (lol real job) and as few as 5/week in a month (lol laziness).

I basically stopped scoping people, it does make a lot more sense for a one tabler. It's also AGAINST THE RULES YOU FILTHY CHEATING SCUM. Definitely don't make too much of positive stats - if someone's really good, you'll know it from what other people who are really good say, not necessarily from a lot of profit beating fish.

Or is this a BR issue
I have more money than I currently know what to do with (been giving 10% to charity, 30k so far, and I suspect I'll give more once I settle into a more longterm life situation), so not a BR issue.
Live poker was fun the last 6 weeks but money making potential was definitely diminished and would not have enjoyed it as much in the long haul.
