Hi yall,

Just wondering if anyone here has any information on whether or not there are divisions at 30s/60s on Stars and who to ask/where to look for information about joining. Asked some players in-game but to no avail.

Most divisions you probably need to beat some people up for awhile to get let in. That's basically how it is, it's regs that don't want a bunch of marginal regs going "fishing" without a big deterrent so they make the deterrent (sitting the reg constantly).

So you often have to be plenty better than the weakest reg in that group, or just insanely determined/well rolled.

The other way to go at it is to make friends with people in these groups. Especially meeting them in person, those types of things go a very long way in situations like this.

Four your specific situation, it's turbos, it's a small group of people (it's a smaller playerbase as a whole compared to hypers) and it's easier for them to ignore anyone who just happens to inquire, I'm sure they don't want to get too friendly and give off the impression that lower stakes regs can join their group/get easy games as they move up. Get better and just attack some of them for awhile, they'll start talking sooner or later.

If that's too intimidating, take up another game type/play on another poker room.

Thanks for the reply!

I was hoping it was the way husng hypers used to be where you just play x amount of games vs the group and if you have x winrate you get in.
But I guess that you're right in that because of how small the player base is my only option is to just keep playing until they budge

Yea, it's more like HS hypers, there are no set rules, it's a smaller group that is going to cold shoulder you until you prove you can get their attention. Good luck!
