Hi

Today I had this honor to play against a semi-maniac. Why semi - PF he wasn't too aggro. But whenever I showed weakness on the later streets, he shoved. Especially OTR.
And - when I showed strength OTF+OTT, he usually folded.

I thought that it might be useful for me - if I flop a monster for example. I could "show weakness", and my opponent would shove. Because if I had shoved, he would have folded.

What would be +EV for me to call his shoves OTR? K-high/A-high/mid pair OK? Since his range is so awfully wide, I'm a bit worried to call a shove OTR with a pair of Aces, if he might be holding two pair, 92...

The player's stats:
VP: 100%
PFR: 12%
Call CBET: 75% (kept me honest...)
River bet: 91%

Here are some examples.

PokerStars - $3.32+$0.18|10/20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 74 BB
BB: 76 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9 J

Hero raises to 2 BB, BB calls 1 BB

Flop: (4 BB, 2 players) 6 5 A
BB checks, Hero bets 3 BB, BB calls 3 BB

Turn: (10 BB, 2 players) 6
BB checks, Hero checks

River: (10 BB, 2 players) 7
BB bets 71 BB and is all-in, fold

BB wins 10 BB

Why do you raise only 2BB pre flop?

P.S. Your examples are similar.
