well idk a lot about palinca but seems he has moved up to at least the $20s and perhaps he is BE atm but surely the fact that he has moved up counts for something...

If you think about borderline; i can confirm that he beats the $5 games, but him merely claiming that he can beat higher stakes really should count for nothing...

Plus you have to add in that Borderline can go on mad tilt easily(the only reason he has not moved up to high stakes SNGs )

wow... what if this is borderline's plan all along. troll until he got someone to make a prop bet match against him where he puts up no money to some one else's $400...

idk if you ask me but this is pretty -ev overall for palinca even if he has a huge edge...

I mean you're playing turbo sngs and only 51 at that...

For those who like dissecting SS graphs :

the screenname I've played most HUSNGs with is Yojuar on SS (currently blocked, should be unblocked very soon).

Currently I can't play on the .com servers (french law) so I've redeposited $ on my old PS account and am playing the 22s/33s turbos there.
My screenname there is Lucoron. The graph is obviously quite ugly but in the 300 games I've put in I'm running about 600$ under ev according to HEM so I guess it could be a bit prettier.

Overall, I don't really know how to assess myself as a player, I've definitely improved in leaps and bounds in the last few months and, delusional as I am, think I should be a long term winner at the 22s/33s level, despite my mediocre results.

I don't know much about borderline obv, from his posts I get the impression he has a decent poker brain, so it should be interesting. If I were a betting person with the information I have I don't know what I would do.....

Beating 5$ sng and breaking even at 20$ seems pretty close to me, borderline major problem seems to be that he cant put any volume, wich with a 400$ freeroll on the line shouldnt be an issue anymore. Anyway people placing bets will define the line regardless of skill since noone will have a clue about that.

Borderline feels like I'm going to lose my mind
You just keep on pushing my love over the borderline

more interesting palinca... what were your results on FTP? Your 300 games sample on stars is nothing really...

and yeah eddie the line will indeed work itself out

Idk how this is -ev for palinca even if I do have an edge. Even if my edge is something ridic like 60% winrate, I still lose 40% of the time, thus, his ev is only -$80 and 51 games assuming 10-15mins = 500-750 mins = 8-12.5hrs which means palinca is getting coached for only $10 to $7 an hour. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Plus if he wins, he gains some bragging rights which has to have some value.

IMO, it's -ev for me to take this even if I did have a ridic edge like 60%.

Also, stars "turbos" are pretty slow. They are about on the same pace as ftp reg speed (imo).

Also, while 51 games is a small sample, it should show who has an edge.

Yup, it should be unblocked soon, as I remember it's basically a very up and down graph that goes back a long time. After 2000 or 3000 SNG I was basically BE after rakeback iirc. Last part of the graph (maybe 1500 games?) was part of my first attempt at grinding FTP turbos (about 20/30 a day) that was basically me crushing the 22s, getting boned in 33s for a long time and probably going a bit insane near the end. First part of the graph was me pre 2+2, playing 100s with 1000 in my account etc.

I would 100% be down for 2 at a minimum, and I'm not even that good at multitabling (it's just a lot easier with the same villain). Good luck trying to get borderline to play 2 though
09-30-2010 , 03:29 AM
do these guys actually play ?
whats the score? Im pretty interested in this one )
09-30-2010 , 03:31 AM
i'll take borderlines side as an underdog 1.5-1

pretty reasonable imo

my 200 to your 300

quote to book

pls release SNs.. i'm doing this primarily for the sweat :P

edit:
palinca wins, i lose 200 but borderlines gone.. palinca loses.. at least i get $300 lolll logic ftw

double edit:
if you're a new member or you're not a reg then we can get it escrowed tyty
