Meh, ok I felt somewhat guilty about not doing the math myself and relying on y'all for the answer. So I dug up Maxcut's EV equation and plugged in the numbers.

[(Total Chips Won + Starting Stack) / Total Chips] x (1 - Rake) x 3

Rake is the same as regular Spins, starting stack is 300 chips. Seems like I need to win 22 chips a game to breakeven.

My quick math based on the number of hands and the effective depth they are played, showed that if you are around 8% ev at normal 25s spins, you'll be beating flash for couple % ev or so.

with the 1m special on PS on $1 spins, is it better to just play $2 spins? I assume the 1m special could be translated as extra rake for the 1m spin pool, but also more recs flowing in? Play 1$ spin,idont think they make the 1mil jackpot from the rake,its just a promotion for few weeks it may hit or it may not.

I've noticed there is a 1% rake increase whenever the stake you are playing is changed to a 1 million+ jackpot or one of those UFC special ones.

Winamax used to be pretty decent but the reg ratio has skyrocketed lately even at the very low stakes. I have not played on stars for a long time but I heard they changed spins strutcture for the worse which attracted even more regs to other sites I guess?

Fishs and even regs should more exploitable. But you probably gonna play less hands per games. More games per hours tho.

As a long time spin grinder , I needs to ask you this question!
I have been grinding this format since late 2016 if not mistaken, started $7 on the side table and in no time reached the 100s, had a 68 CEV on 100s on late 2017 and 2018 ,than my CEV started coming down and downer. 2019 I barely reached 50CEV ,always around 48/47 ,, and since late 2019 ,in the last 8K game , my CEV is around 36 !! I have grinded 500s/250s and a few 1K also ,but never the game was that bad in my eyes,Now I am wondering if I'm losing it or is it really bad
Most of my poker friends are tourney grinders and doing much better.
Do you think We are stock in the wrong format these days ?Or simply I suck as the games gets harder? or is it just pure run bad? I am on break even in the last 8K games (real money) with 36cev and kind of getting frustrated. With this coronavirus ,most poker formats most be hot and We are playing the worst one with the highest variance and after introduction of the flash ,less fishes ,and F**G stars tries to milk all ours and fishes blood together.and instead of getting punished they're f'** getting rewarded with super duper traffic due to the pandemic.

If you can't even win vs the bad players, then I think you answered your own question: You're running poorly. Make sure you focus on playing good during these times especially, can easily prevent an 8k breakeven from being a 12k breakeven by maintaining focus.

As far as formats, I don't see anything that is as nuts as the hu cash craze of the mid 10s, where $100 HUSNG players would sit as high as $10-20 and just decline all sitters until a really bad player came. So I wouldn't worry too much about missing out, but if you play multiple games as a high skill level, go ahead and play both games and see how it compares.

Otherwise, this is too short of a boom to online for you to take up another game, it'll easily take a month or longer of studying to become as good in another format as your primary.

Last few months winrates dropped a lot, games got really hard especially after PS made structure/rake changes. 36cpg is quite fine winrate (guess could be better during 'coronaboom' but I haven`t been playing too many 100s lately).

Second question, if this number is correct, how much does this,according to you, increase the chance of this being rigged? I personally don't think it is as I don't see any merits of doing this as it might even have the opposite effect.
