If you're looking at PS $15 spins, the rake is 6% and not 7% as we were discussing in the previous posts. Break even for 6% rake is ~ 32 chips per game.

They are alleged of cheating. No hard proof yet. As I understand it.

I'm personally not sure about every single name on that list, but at the very least most of them have been banned from PS and I personally know with near 100% certainty that many of them are confirmed botters. This sort of stuff has been known in the husng community for a long time, though it's good that it's starting to come out a bit more widely now.

I would probably take an even money bet that every single name on that list is a confirmed bot group acct, based on the many that I know (ex. entire German crew) to be botters and have bot connected players.

A good number of them at least are gto bot cheaters yes, I have no reason to think the list is false at all.

Hope that sites are willing and able to police the games and provide adequate punishments. Have my doubts about that tho; PS is the industry leader and has been more interested in short-term profits over long-term health for a few years now. Botting doesn't appear to be one of their main concerns, probably because it leads to a lot of rake. Heard rumors about it being far worse on other sites (Winamax/ACR/iPoker).

Until there are severe penalties for such actions, I don't think much is going to change. Currently the only consequence for stealing tens of thousands of dollars is a bit of public scorn on a small corner of the internet.

You, sir, are clearly out of touch with this one. You can blame Stars for a lot of things, you cannot reasonably claim that they haven't been going hard on botting or that they are not doing it now.

There are few problems with your train of thought:
1) someone's opinion in a post on 2p2 is not and cannot be taken as a fact regardless of which large corporation and their operations are in question;
2) ..hence, speculations based on someone's hearsay can be misleading and further escalation of wrong information can only magnify incorrect perception of reality
3) even if someone's hearsay is partially or fully correct, in this case downsizing of department X, your previous point is most likely misleading because downsizing by itself doesn't mean that somehow effectiveness/productivity will be affected, in fact, most of the time, that's not how large corporations operate -- most often businesses are planning ahead and would be looking to optimize or automate internal processes, since getting more for less is the whole idea in XXI century, hence see point #2.
