My brother has experimented with it a lot. He can pull it off for long stretches but I'm not sure how sane he is when doing it. Tbh I think its a terrible idea for poker players, you are probably not mentally fresh enough to play when on the uberman schedule.

Has anyone here ever attempted it, or something similar? Gonna attempt the Uberman Sleep Schedule starting today. Sleeping two hours a day, what could possibly go wrong?
My guess Is I will fail after about 1 day, but we'll see. I feel I have the heart and commitment to make this work :P

I got into that wierd sleeping cycle for about two weeks when HU LHE games were really good and I was getting into 6 hour sessions vs fish, slept like 4 hours a day an hour at a time and felt fantastic. You actually dont get sleepy but it feels reaaaaally wierd. I read it wasnt very healthy so I stopped after about 1-2 weeks when my heater ended .
What online tracking sites do you guys use to get an idea of an opponents skll level? (eg sharkscope). Are there any free sites like this or are there any sites where I can pay via stars funds?

yea just $20 overall, and lets def. do random pool, but do it by round, so the sweat is more fun and we get to do more of them
Mentally, you're actually fresh and fit as a fiddle. It doesn't have any negative impacts on your congitive abilities after you're used to it, and it actually made me MORE alert.
After a while your body is what starts to take a beating because it has less time to physically recover from the wear and tear of daily activities. That's why a lot of polyphasic sleepers take a regular sleep every month or so to "refresh".
First nap is in 10 minutes. Let's see how this goes :P
I wouldn't just go straight for uberman. I think it would be better to phase it in. IIRC there are different levels of this poly-something sleeping, and starting out lower so to speak might be a good idea?
