I don't send the money back. I regard disconnecting the same as bad beat - it's part of poker and as long as there's no legal obligation or even moral consensus to return the money (as opposed to when you find it on the street), I don't see a reason to return it. If I was so righteous I would probably also decline rematches with terrible players adn stop playing poker whatsoever.

I'm looking to play some games with a player that is a lot better than me so I can then pay someone to review the HH's. I moved up to the $31.50's this month and am doing well so far..but I feel I'm too predictable/passive when playing decent players. I'd like to go at least down a level to play these games because I don't really want to play a player that's a lot better than me at the stakes I just moved up to, but I am willing to stay at these stakes if you say so.

I know some of you like to play around with people from here at lower stakes for fun, so if anyone would be willing to do this if your not in the mood to play your normal stakes let me know.

Newff: Watch Primo's video against one of his students...the one where he plays like an aggro monkey. It's the one that helped me the most regarding not taking too many standard lines, and rather putting ppl in difficult spots.

where is this video at? I'm no HUSNG.com subscriber...

i'm at the point where i'm working on a vvvv aggressive style and forcing the opponent to react and make them believe that you are an aggro monkey when you are not. hence why i can get away with 4-betting KQo to a minimum 3-bet Newff (sorry about being an ass in that thread and to JoeP if you read this, but not immortal technique open up your mind and be willing to think outside of the box, man ) Anyways, i mean a vvv aggressive style actually works well at the 50s and 100s as far as chipping them down but not endgame. still, there are so few especially on here (2+2 has it's own style) who can play it well and i'd like to rail them more often or find more info if anyone can help. I can play a TAG really well and want to open up my game more. Maybe Mersenneary would be good? Cartmainz/Plowking but I don't know his SN? Skates is gone...Anybody else come to mind?

you cant just always play a crazy monkey aggro style. if you do you will get owned by some of the weak passive fish who have 0 hand reading abilities. i play kinda lag, but i sometimes hate playing those 90/0/0.5 type players.

Arsenal Gunners, i think you should definitely play as bat**** insanely aggressive as possible. the great thing about husngs is how much FE you have against the players. people are not stations at all in husngs. no, what you have to do is create a crazy image so that they finally say "**** it" and call you down light.

Well, if you play "bat**** insanely" and they "finally call you down lightly" that's not something good necessarily, since there's high chance of them catching your bluff.

Playing a really aggressive style causes opponents to react to you and usually in only a few ways. I'm talking about things like not being so passive OOP, recognizing adjustments based on perceived over-aggressiveness, etc. I'm being serious here--something where good players think I'm a donk yet I'm still owning them. Being that guy who seems to know if you are calling light, trying to trap, or playing back at them, appears lucky but he's owning you and you can't believe how lucky they are when really they are better than you. Make any sense?
