Because Cog Dissonance is slow in responding to my requests

So for the first 10 mins, FT reg speeds are *very* close to PS turbos, after that obviously the FT regs get a depth advantage.

Just as a frame of reference, I think my average match at FT reg speeds is around 12 mins.

Need some advice, preferably from regs at the $80 and up husng limit who will understand my thinking. Talked with sejje privately about this yesterday. Would like to know what others think as well. Heres the dilemma. I used to be an accountant, making approx $100 clear a day. Now, when I moved up to the $100 level about three weeks ago, I've been having many days where I start the day 3-0, 4-1, etc and am up $275 right away. And its like triple each day what i used to make which is exciting. Now, I think to myself, when this happens, hmm, maybe I should book the $275 win for the day, go do something else like go out with friends, etc. Now since this has been happening alot recently, my volume has been low because every day in July I have started off the day great and quit when im up somewhere around $300. I feel unproductive volume wise, yet I'm still up $3,690 at the 100s this month with low volume (sharkscope missed some of the days obv so my results on sharkscope arent accurate)

So, my question is, should I not think about how much I'm up and just keep playing? Should I just put in like 10-15 $100husng a day regardless if I start the day 8-0 or 4-4? Am i costing myself so much money by stopping playing when ahead each day? Also, I'm the type of person that if I'm up $270, continue playing, and end the day like down $100 I get pissed at myself that I didnt stop while ahead. Maybe I should fix that, its prob a big leak. I'm pretty sure most high stakes regs will say for me to keep playing cause Im costing myself money, but opinions are appreciated. btw, most days I play 2 hours or sometin and when ahead like 3 buyins i stop and have like 5 hours where I feel like I have nothing to do and am wasting time.

i think you should stop playing in 3 circumstances:
1-you don't feel good / you're tilted / tired / unmotivated
2-you reached your standard hours for the day
3-you hit your stop loss (if you have one).

if when you're up 2-3 BI you feel unmotivated then it's "technically" correct to stop playing. because being unmotivated is a form of tilt.
but you should definetely work on that, because it's going to cost you a lot of money in the long term.
it's the old story of not being result oriented..., and accepting that in poker profits can only be measured in the long tem

I'll typically only 1-table if I'm up and unsure if I should continue to play or not. A lot of times I'll find myself in a game and I make a dumb & impatient call because subconsciously I know im up 5-0 to start the day. If this is the case I've gotten good enough to realize to either stop for 4-5 hours (when I come back I feel like I'm even) or just wait till the next day to start even again. I even have the same problem over a timespan of weeks/months... this is why I've started to reset my SS stats each time I cashout.. thus making me feel even again and *I need to win*.

This is in response to my email including all of the details (I included the PM I sent to the one person who replied to my "notes" offer). Phew, I guess that was a close one.

But you can still send me PMs warning about your poor "angry management skills" and offering to make me "feel what bleeding realy means" if you want, they've been good for a laugh.

Just set volume goals dude. Say your gonna play X games per day, the only reason you stop is if you hit your stop/loss, or feel your not playing optimally. Don't keep serious track of your results while playing.

Doing things this way means your going to play longer losing/BE sessions and very short winning sessions. You have to strive to make your winning sessions far outweigh the losing ones.

gl.

lol, yes new jersey is great. Hey royle, do you play at the Taj? I play 2/5nl and 10/20 limit there about 2-3 times a month, usually on saturdays, and I take week long vacations at the Taj Mahal usually once a month. Everyone at the Taj knows me cause I'm the 6 foot 6 lanky guy (all the floor people know me and all the regs in the 2/5 game know me.) Wondering if u ever seen me. I live near Philly, bout an hour up the AC expressway. Anyways, I prob should just take my 3buyins each day and drive down to AC to play live when I win each night. The games at the Taj are great on the weekends.

Evidence that badbeater misrepresented the situation in his emails to full tilt IMO.

Or that the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing, which I guess is possible.
