You need to select hands for your horizontal axis (not games) and chips for vertical. Then the EV option will become available.

Someone help me understand this:

Why do good regulars chatflame you the very first match (so without history of any kind) when you make a good hero call, or hit a big draw?
And when I say chatflame, I mean cursing a lot, calling me dumb, etc.

The guy in question has 6% ROI over 33.777 games, with 90k+ profit. He called me '****ing dumb', 'dumber than a rock' and dumb a few more times. The reason? I had 2 overs and a flush draw, and hit one of my overs.

I really can't understand how someone can achieve such good results, and yet be so bad at the mental part of the game. Someone help me understand.

^^ he's probably dealing with his emotions by taking it out on you, and that way, his game is not affected by poor play, just poor ethics. Livb is famous for cussing out his opponents while tilting, and his game didn't suffer much at all...

you dont need to understand it, you cant control how other people act but you can control how you react and how you let it effect you.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it.
It just weird to me that someone who's apparently incapable of fixing this mental issue can achieve such great results.
For me poker players with bad results are people who aren't thinking about the game, or the mental part of the game. That doesn't mean they're not smart, they just don't think about the game like a winner does.
Imo one of the first steps to becoming good at poker is fixing mental issues (tilt issues and getting pissed off by a 'bad beat' as 2 of the first things). I just find it weird that someone who has played that many games, and thus has loads of experience, still is at level 0 of mental game.

Maybe on some level it pisses me off that someone can achieve such great results, with such a big mental leak. I also have a 6% ROI (over a 4000 game sample size though), so I guess I hate to see someone with such a leak achieve the same as myself while I don't have that leak (I probably got plenty of technical leaks, but he played very poorly imo and I don't think he's better than me).

Poker players often have a big ego, and this can result in trashtalking in chat, tilt etc, but it can also be a factor that contributes to their succes in poker. Because in order to be succesful in poker, you need to be very competitive, and this goes hand-in-hand with having a big ego.

That's very true, but I think there's a difference between chatflaming out of nowhere because I won a hand in which we literally were 50-50 to win compared to thinking one is better than the other because of ego reasons.
More than 13000 games should give you the experience of not being pissed off and start chatflaming someone when you lose a flip, that has nothing to do with ego imo.

After so much experience, it becomes difficult to make bad decisions. Even if you're tilting and cussing in chat/at your monitor, you're still very aware open jamming Q7o for 30bbs is a stupid play. IMO.

True, but shouldn't it also be obvious that chatflaming doesn't do any good either? Or getting mad about losing a flip while you're playing a ton of games per day and have so much experience?

PS. It sounds like I'm making a big deal about this, wasn't really trying to do that. I'm just honestly curious because I find it hard to understand.

I think chat flaming in general is very unprofessional. Good players can be unprofessional too, but that doesn't mean it's a becoming attribute.
