I can't speak for Bryan, but my impression was that he had gotten so far in he hoped he could get it all back, even if he seemed to realize the guy was being shady.

It's often easier to see other people's problems, or to see your own issues in hindsight. However, in the heat of the moment, it's tougher to make the right decision.

Been playing for a living for past 6+ years, mostly $200s-1k husng (was mostly 500-2k right around black Friday) then taken a mini hiatus and now back playing $100-500 husng and cap cash mostly $50/100 and 100/200ish

Edit: in case your unclear this happened to me when I was like 20, so 5-6 yrs ago

Very standard thieves transition from "how do you mean you can't send me 500$, why are we friends if you can't believe me?!!?" to "I got some outside advices that I should not pay you back YOUR OWN MONEY until you get my EPT fixed"

Wow just went through this, pretty crazy. What's actually interesting though is to see the resemblance of Robert's attitude with scammers I've come to know or hear about throughout my life, these are one hell of a sick type of human being.

So what is your status now? Are you playing poker again? Did you ever rebuild your bankroll again? What kind of steps did you take to get your poker career back going? These days you got to be a dam judge and dissect everything out or you will get screwed over. Everyone trying to screw everyone thats why this economy is crap. I helped out a buddy of mine was a great player he did the same thing loaned out money guy never payed back and he was showing off all the money he made from poker and ended up getting robbed and ended up broke. I loaned him 5 k and hes payed me back and i got a nice profit out of it so not everyone gets ripped off and sometimes people go busto and need help from bad situation, but the good thing is you learn from it and it makes you a smarter person with dealing with people. You just got to make sure you ask around about the guy from other players about his character and paying back and that pretty much can tell you whether they are trust worthy or not. I loaned out a few thousand online too and i got payed back with no problems. but dont worry about that guy when people do dishonest things its bad karma it comes back worse for them in the end. I like to help people its one of the best feelings you can have is being unselfish and making other people happy so I hope this doesn't discourage people to do favors for others but all it takes is one a hole and it ruins it for all the good people out there.

Got scammed on a lot of other things by other poker players and 1 family member for 50k, the majority of the 250k though was getting rolled from people betting sports when black Friday happened

Yup, it's crazy how many times since that i've seen people with a similar attitude/approach


I've still been playing full time ever since, I play mostly HS cash / $500 HU SNGs, took 2 years off after black friday but have been back again for ~6-7 months now

Seriously, stfu and keep your dumb opinions in the other thread. There is a reason I'm still accepted in the HS community, snap sell out when I sell action, am frequently used for an escrow for people. The answer is obv because everybody who knows me well or has dealt with me in the community knows I wouldn't scam anybody. But plz keep posting EVERY single day even though I've said I haven't been playing in months, promoting in months, etc. Your def. right, huge scam and I got you!

well look at it this way if lock poker was your girlfriend, guess what shes sleeping with 20 guys a day different from u. i think u can figure out what to do!

i dont think youre viewed within the majority of the poker community as a scammer (including me). i believe, however, everyone is frustrated by your blind loyalty to this company when it is quite obvious things are in an irreversible downward spiral. you keep saying you believe things will get better and have even provided dates in posts (see above post) when things will improve. however, once these declarations pass you provide no other insight other than things will "improve."

what improvements have been made to cashouts since may 4th when concrete deadlines were set? if none, what gives you confidence that they will now?
