Times New Roman sucks, so ugly. I would think most graphic designers in the world wouldn't rate it very high. Sick effort though, sick book, congratulations guys.

Pretty nice book. Got through a bit of pages and there's not just a simple winning rule

But on the more serious note, it makes you think the idea through after reading even a small part. Which is what a good book should be written like. I like it so far. It's like capturing the imagination.

I hate you Mers for giving out such valuable information for free.
But I love you for making good videos and for your teaching skills.

But no doubt the >$60 will be all about bumhunting within a year just like HU cash. After a fish sits, there will be regs spamming that register button. ST's are all about volume, since your edge is already small vs fish. In reg speed, regs can make money off worse regs, but playing decent regs in ST's is just a waste of time if its not only for practice. Its very similar to ClayDoll's 180 series, the games are getting tough extremely rapidly now and the swings are getting humongous.
If I were at your level I would teach and coach myself as much as possible, why not take the non-variance route? But giving this out in multiple languages for free might be a slight overkill, like a few guys in here tried to signify.

If you were a bad teacher, unable to coach and were putting food on the table for your family by playing this format - how would you react if you found this thread, and the e-book only contained information that you already knew by teaching yourself over the last three years?
Yes, that's just a personal question, nothing more . I'm not that person (I wish), but I would be furious for sure. There are so much free information out there, so in the end, this is just another poker book.

My main point is though, that this format simply cannot afford much education since the edge already is small to begin with.
Anyway, thanks for your dedication and love to the community. Feel free to PM me the next format to focus on before you start putting out vids on it .

Ye I agree with most of this. I pretty much know everything that Mers teaches in the ebook from the fasttrack forum and private coaching.
It obviously sucks that he gives away the store so to speak, but I'm still very grateful to Mers cause if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be beating ST's in the first place.

Also I'm obviously not super scared of a new person reading the ebook and thinking he could beat ST's just like that, it's a little bit more complicated.
But this whole thing may attract more hardworking regs to the game and plugg some of the weaker regs leaks. And that could be really bad.

The thing is that the rake at 60-200$ level is close to 2% which means that the person you are playing needs to be losing -4% on average for you to even breakeven. So you need to be waaay better than your opponent to make any decent money (and run on EV which is damn hard).

Right now pokerstars only offers two lobbies which at times got like 10+ regs fighting over and many times accidentally sitting each other at the 100-200 levels.
Imagine a world where you got 20 regs fighting over the same lobbies, goodbye profits.

Sure as you move up into real highstakes the rake get's closer to 1% so the best of the best will probably be able to defend there lobbies and knock down any lesser players for the time being.

Well let's just say things are about to get tuff for real =).

agreed. almost all of this info has been out for months now in the fasttrack forum.

i don't think it makes the info any less useful. i think it's "great". the fasttrack forum has been a huge success in transforming the poker thought process of dozens of players imo - Mers' articles are the foundation of that change imo.

Exactly, what we can hope for is that PokerStars lower the rake even more.
