either your game get worse because you lack time to think, but you ll figure it out pretty fast, or you ll get less bored and play better because you wont do stupid moves because you get impatient.
Yeah, I played about 1000 games last month and 1000 this month with good ROI and I've had plenty of -20bi streaks, and one -30bi. Turbos, though.
What do you mean by -20BI streak? It`s not 20 losses in a row?
I play turbos too. If that was tilt (it`s not as I don`t tilt) I wouldn`t worry much but I`m afraid it must be bad play.
What are people's opinions on using sharkscope prior to starting a new HUSNG, maybe if there is a villain waiting for someone to play them in the lobby etc.
I do sometimes check to see who I will be playing and I feel it negatively affects my play. If I some up against someone who sharkscope shows them as being a real fish I start getting really tilted if they start beating me and my play starts to diminish as I try and out play them (maybe cases of fancy play syndrome).
If I get sat by a reg, especially a big winner I start to see the game as a loss already. I start trying the end the game quickly to get out.
I feel if I didn't check sharkscope first and just played every one assuming that they are solid then I might play better.
What are your opinions on using sharkscope, how do you use it and how do you base the results of sharkscope on your play vs the villain.
you cant , sharkscope is unusable on ftp and you cant differenciate a bumhunter from a legit winner, nor a fish from a guy that multitable regs by using sharkscope.
hey guys, quick line check, do you think I played it ok?
villain's stationary, sometimes bluffy, most of the time passive, but kinda polar in his decisions (checked down oop a full house), plays wide range oop
Given stack sizes i'm happy with what Sol said and getting it in on the flop.
On another note, can anyone with good BRM give me any advice? With a $200-300 BR what level of ST HU should I be playing, i'm guessing $5 and when should I move up/down? What's the best way to avoid tilt on these? Because the variance is so high and I always end up moving up the stakes due to 6 bad beats in a row vs these massive fish who get it in terribly. I'm a winning player at the $5 HU level, but my lack of BRM kills me.
How is everyone? Took a little break because the bad beats were just annoying me, then low and behold Black Friday arrives....games seem worse then ever. How is everybody else holding up? I guess I am lucky because I can still play, but the games seem tougher in my opinion.
Hi guys, quick question... on the Leaderboards (FTP) it's detailed as follows:
Rank / Name / Location / 258.0 / 3 x fav buyin
...what does the 258.0 (listed under Chips) mean? Is it just a points based system? And also the 3 x fav buyin - I understand this is what FTP reward you with for being on the Leaderboards...do I have to register/sign up to anything or meet any criteria in order to receive this "bonus" from FTP? And is it transferred directly into account as tournament $ or tickets?
you earned 258 chips, you get one max for each opponent you are up on and 1/2 if you are even. and you ll get 3X your most played buy ins in cash at the end of the month
So I get one chip for every OPPONENT I'm up on? Regardless of how many games I've played? Ie I've beaten the same guy 5 times in a row and had not played him prior to this, it would mean that I would still only be allocated one chip?
