hey guys, i took up husngs a couple days ago and so far so good. I have 2 main questions: whats a decent sample size in order to assess roi and move up in stakes. For example my roi in the 2 dollar
Games is 60%/50 games. Move up? and the second question i have is how do you deal with the urge to kill urselves vs passive opponents? I know im not the only one who dies a lil inside when villain constantly limps button and plays completely straight forward with min bets.

I understand that the consensus was that FTP was better for micro husngs cos of rakeback while Stars gets better at higher stakes cos of better FPPs and more action.

With the changes announced this week ,has this changed? I am playing up to $10 at the moment and would like to progress towards $33 over the next months.. is FTP still my best option?

what changes are you talking about? The new program is nothing but a + for HUSnG players and any other tournament and HU players. Huge + if I may say.

From what I hear you now get around 33% rb on FTP with all the new bonuses (assuming you have rb there).

Platinum on Stars I thought was around 20%, so it can be a decent difference for lower stakes players.

On the other hand, Stars regular speeds (though FTP deep stack is probably true for this as well) can often be the best structure for beginners to experience success early and build a roll, as you can play more of a tight, nitty style and win. You can't do that nearly as much in the FTP turbos or Stars turbo/FTP regular speed (two similar structures).

erm... yeah.. didn't really said anything on the contrary...

I'd say it's more rb though.

oh, and plat star on the minimum requirement(7,5k) is ~30rb.

Sorry, I was more answering the guy you answered than your question.

For your question, some recent Stars VIP changes here and some recent FTP changes here and some information about the new black card promo and comparisons to Stars VIP system here

ok, im really well aware of the changes and really spamming the threads with clarifications and calculations and spamming ftp with proposals and stuff.

by "what changes are you talking about?" I was actually saying "the changes are only a plus for HUSnG/HU cash/any sng/mtt players".

You must have just doing 100 other things while replying, thanks for the helpfulness though

Yea I agree all the changes are neutral to positive from all reports. Sorry, I thought you were asking some questions rather than just replying, my bad.

Villain plays rather straightforward.
He 4bet-called QQ in an earlier game.
He checked behind some wet boards, but C-bet most dry ones. He also usually C-bet about 1/2 pot iirc.

Full Tilt Poker $33 + $1.50 Heads Up No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t15/t30 Blinds - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (BB): t1470 49 BBs
BTN/SB: t1530 51 BBs

Pre Flop: (t45) Hero is BB with K 3
BTN/SB raises to t60, Hero calls t30

Flop: (t120) 8 7 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets t90, Hero raises to t280, BTN/SB raises to t645, Hero raises to t1410 all in, BTN/SB calls t765

I have a feeling there is a more +ev way to play this hand. How can I get max value out of worse draws (straightdraws and lower f-draws) while still folding out a lot of hands with good equity against me?
I don't really like donking cause I expect villain to C-bet close to 100% and I doubt he'll bluffraise my donks often if at all.

Are there any free videos out there? In the FR forum there is a lot of videos by regs. I'm not talking about videos from users who want comments. I'm talking about a good video which I could watch to learn.

Poker Stars €1.00+€0.07 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t15/t30 Blinds - 2 players

BB: t440 14.67 BBs
Hero (BTN/SB): t2560 85.33 BBs

Pre Flop: (t45) Hero is BTN/SB with K A
Hero raises to t90, BB calls t60

Flop: (t180) 7 4 5 (2 players)

Could some1 just give him a somewhat likely range and help me do the maths. How do I calculate if it's a call?

2nd time in how many opportunities?

Some spewtards to this with any pair and any draw, others only with good pairs and all draws and others only with draws. I assume villain to be the first kind though.

Pokerstars micro. Can't find any info about blind structure. Is it 5min for 1$, 10min for 2$, 10min for 2$ (4man) and 5min for 2$ (4man) turbo?

good fold ofc, 2nd time doesn't give u any guarantees that he is doing it without tp. these bad players r able to play good hands this way. u r still deep and can easily wait for a better spot. avoid marginal spots at lower stakes against ez targets
