Villian 46 hands - VP SB:78%, cbet 60%. Villain had been playing kinda TAG, while at this blind level pre-flop he had min raised twice and 3x twice.

My question here is more about pre flop and on the flop. As played im calling on the turn. I want to know what the optimal play pre and on the flop.

i would jam the flop since there is a heart draw and you might get called by AK or AQ type of hands, but just calling isnt bad if you know he is jamming any turn..

I like calling on the flop more then jamming as a weak 7$ player might assume he's gonna fold a 3, a 5 (witch r not rlly in ur range) and a fd.
what I don't like if the preflop call.
he seems to be aggresive and you're not gonna hit often enough to justify calling his 3x.
    I'd jam preflop instead.

bump for jamming pre, especially if one of the previous hands was a decent income of chips for us

ya jamming pre vs 3x open is fine against this guy. what to do on flop depends on his barreling freq. if he fires multi barels then flat, if not c/r flop.

A typical TAG doesn't raise 78% and c-bet 60%. This guy has to be a LAG.

Against 78% opening range we can very profitably 3bet jam KJo, especially when he made it 120 to go. This is an easy jam imo.

As played c/r jam on flop, he's (or at least he think he is) priced in with a lot of weak stuff + draws.

I thought this was a jam pre, which was why i asked as i thought calling was my mistake here.

    Thanks for the replies

Nobody is questioning whether jam pre is ev+, although vs a guy with different opening sizes (like here), this may even not be the case (though no info given on showdowns or tendencies with different opening sizes so can't comment on that). The question is whether it is more profitable to jam pre or just flat and play a flop.

Only play Hypers these days, but this is actually the absolute bottom of my range pre-flop against someone who's mixing 2x and 3x.

    I'd 3bet-jam ATs+ / AJo+, 22+, flat KJo+, JTs+ - and fold weaker Ax hands. But I'd jam super wide over his 2x'es.

As played, I would absolutely gii otf. There isn't really that much worse that he'd call us with - but don't want to give him free equity either.
