Both hands are against different opponents. And on both hands I was readless.

On This hand I think it's totally standard before the river and my question is that should I call on the river? Is population bluffing here enough that I should call this?

First hand - sizing is suspicious, but just because of the sizing you will be good enough times here to call, enough draws missed and sometimes by randoms that's a block bet with a 1 pair hand. So I call and be happy about it.

Second one check either flop or turn, I prefer flop. Also sizing - go smaller like 30-35 into 80, as played turn is definitely a check or if you want to bet - think what you are targeting - mainly Kx, with that SPR betting 80 into 160 is too much. When x/shoved on turn you are drawing to 2 outs almost always, but you left really awkward stack size behind.

First hand: - call all the way, no worries.
Second hand: - why do you bet half pot on paired flop? bet either full pot or 30%. if you bet full pot and get called, then you do not put a single penny in that pot and if you bet 30% and get called you shoot another 30% bullet on turn and if BB shoves, you can easily fold. when you shoot 50% and 50% you get commited with your 15BB stack and you need to call the shove and you are most of the times beat when you call.

First one i lean to calling because he reps 8x here that are only a small part of his range.
The second one your turn bet should be considered as a blocking bet with intention of folding to any action what are you beating on the turn on that board ? If you suspect him bluffing too much than check turn , call river.

I think 1st hand is an easy call.
2nd hand, tricky spot, but I dont actually think he has Ax here a lot. Because, if he had A10+ I think he'd ship pre. Other Ax hands why would he shove river? From his view, he will probably only get action from better As (which is defs in your range). Because if you had 99+ I think he would think that you would fold a lot.
So I think he has 5x or nothing :O

Anyone else thoughts on this?
