I think it depends how ur oponnent behaving on flop - especially what is cbeting frequency. As standard 67o K6o 87o are to wide and they are difficult to play profitable OOP.

IMO playing hands like 67o 87o k6o OOP, is not obligatory to beat low stakes hu.

Ok, why we flat this range? I would get some reasoning
I think we call because:
-ppl opening range is pretty wide, so even with hands like K7o we have good eq against his range
-ppl without reads do not barell on turn/riv too much so pretty often if he hit 2nd pair with hands like 87o,86o we can go to showdown pretty often
-hands like A2o,A3o are too weak for 3bet without reads because we know ppl like call 3bets pretty wide, and A2o,A3o not playing well OOP in big pots, pretty often we have to give up on the turn. also A2o,A3o is too strong to fold against overall ppl opening range, and as said before, ppl do not like second and 3rd barell without reads early on the match

what you think about this reasons? maybe there are other reasons why we have this hands as standart in flating range against unkwn?

Lot's of mixed information on this topic. I've been trying to learn more about flatting ranges by watching videos, but it's weird. You get some guys who, readless, think it's wayyy too nitty to fold 87o to a minr, and will defend as low as K5o against someone opening a wide %.

But then others figure you can't go wrong folding oop. One that I remember that really confused was one of fydors videos, where the first hand of the match readless he folds K8o and it had always seemed like a totally standard flat readless.

Against a minr, you're getting such good odds that anything that plays well you can flat, unless villian is barreling like mad postflop making your life miserable, or has a really low button open frequency. I've settled on something like 40-44% readless.

Obviously against 3x it's a different story.

Call me greedy, but you should be trying to win as much as possible. Defending 67, 87 and K6 might not be obligatory to beat low stakes HU, but it might be optimal.
