Calling a cr AI here? Dont think they cr this boards light enough for it to be a call. How about if villain cr to 100-120 which looks much stronger?

It's very much villain dependant I'd say.

Anyway if you face a c/r you're going to play against decent draw most of the time or better pair/two pairs. Pretty difficult spot, but I think we have to gii or fold this deep(?), given you hate 50% of turn cards. Just play around with stove/equilab a bit.

    Ok.
Do you still think that calling is the best play? Or am I to nitty?

Eh, readless I wouldn't mind checking back on this board.

As played I'd call a shove because that looks weaker or drawish from a random, and you are in good shape against most of them. If they c/r to a smaller size it usually is strong but I don't think you can fold anyway. You can find a fold in some cases though.

Ya i agree that people won't be c/r this light but there are plenty of draws and Qx J9 J8 type hands getting it in. But it's just a standard get it in for sure. Top pair 23bb deep on a drawy flop pretty standard.

Why check back when so many turn cards are so horrible? Just to avoid having to face a check/raise?

On this board I don't see much difference between checking back and cbetting with Q5o, as we don't crush any Qx and most draws wouldn't c/c anyway. In other words, I can't see villain flatting our cbet on this board very often.

Things woulda been quite different if we had strong Qx though - I'd much more inclined to bet/call or bet/3bet jam with that.

not much difference between checking back and cbetting?

pretty sure cbetting>>>checking back here, and would gii over a c/r for the reasons THOAC said

there are just way too many turns that kill our hand for us to be checking back

totally agree with taiko on this one, not only does betting give you alot of value from worse pairs/draws, you also fold out equity share, which most holdings have plenty of (even a hand like 8s2h has 20% equity, folding out naked 9x is even bigger).

Ouch, sorry guys, I thought the flop was KJTss instead of QJTss. By strong Qx I meant QT and better

That said, I agree with posters above.
