Yeah that's fine. It would also be such a juicy barrell spot for so many hands when you have equity on the turn.

b/c turn 300ish, you have a great hand but by overbetting you fold out a ton of bad pairs and draws that will call a smaller bet

Why would you bet turn so small? I think the turn card justifies a bigger bet as it brings a couple new draws (to some of which we hold a blocker). So when we bet 400-450, he has like 325-275 left on the river and that should make our river play really easy no matter what card comes?

I think on the flop you could easily bet 200 - 225 chips. Therefore on the turn you could bet 350 - 400 and then shove most (if not all) rivers.

I think the way you did play the hand looks rather bluffy - but the villain is only like to call your shove with a small combo of hands so you should be focusing on extracting the most chips possible.
