Villain has not been out of line, and we've only played 18 hands. w/ this 3bet he has 28% in 3bet%. No special reads.

Is my river play standard here?

it smells so much like AQ,AA and QQ. those are only 10 combos though so he only needs to play 4 combos of KQ-QT this way. i think i would call and make a note but it appears to be very close and could very well be a flopped fullhouse.

Would love to hear more on this. Imo this is either an obvious call or an obvious raise, no middle ground.

I raised because I thought Hands that never fold are: AA-AT, KK-KJ, QQ-QT, TT, 77, and there are more combos I beat there than beat me.
I didn't take into consideration that every hand that beats me shoves and very few hands which I beat shoves, which makes me lean perhaps more towards a call now in hindsight.

i think nobody argues about your river raise which is totally fine, some just think folding to the 3bet is closer to call than others do. everyone so far recommended you to call the 3bet though.

I'm raise folding/river. sizing and line is so congruent with everything that beats us, and very little that we beat.

I've been looking into when villain uses this sizing in my HEM and it's ALWAYS a huge hand. If anyone else wanted to add from their HEM database I'd appreciate it. I think the general thinking behind such small sizing is that: 1.) they're weak, 2.) they have a MONSTER and are scared they won't get called. When they shove they have the later. So this sizing/line is always a monster?

by this sizing/line I mean a blocker sized bet followed by a large shove.

Raise river bigger wtf. I'd make it like 600+. Now,hmm i call,need to be right 28%:

forgot to add AQ,so that's 6 more combos that beat us,so we need 2 more comobos of KQ in his range.Anyway he has at least 6 combos of worse/bluffs for sure.
