Can we call profitably 3bet jams 25BB deep with 22?

Given the wide range: A2o+,A2s+,22+,KJs+,KTo+
Our equity is approx 44% which after doing an EV calculation of 27BB for a win vs -23BB for a loss(assuming we min raised in SB) is negative. Against this range we don't become profitable until stack sizes reach about 16BB.

33 is closer to 47% which makes calling close to 0EV against this range

44 is 50% which makes calling profitable

When we change the range to a little tighter:A2s+,A5o+,22+,KQs
Our equity plummets

22 become approx 41%~42% which makes calling terrible 25BB deep

33 now also becomes negative

44 is approx 0EV

I can't believe with 20,000+ games experience I never realized this and have been snap calling every pair in these spots. Thoughts?

i cant believe you have 20000+ games experience and yet never noticed that most regs openjam these hands.

Imo best way to play 22-33 is just open shove.

Limp trapping at 25bb is also an option if villain raises limps pathologically. But yeah dude, you should be open shoving in 99% of situations with 22-33.

ofc we can, who jams big pp 25bb lol, if you remove those hands(AA-JJ) you get needed equity, not with 22 but imo ppl jam enough hands to call also 22

readless, i think 3bet range is a bit tighter then this A2s+,A5o+,22+,KQs
so raise/call is not profitable
if you start to open a wider range and he adjusting by shoving wider it may become profitable.

For me raise/calling 22 makes sense if your opponent is competent enough to call your openshoves w suited connectors and 3b shoving enough to make it +EV.

one can extrapolate from here that calling a jam in BB is even worse and is practically applicable

I cant remember when I last time saw someone 3b jamming JJ+ 20bb+ that ofc doenst mean they dont do it, just it is soooo tiny part of range that we can ignore it

mr/calling 33 over just openshoving is pretty close imo, i think 3 bet bluffing at highstakes from fish has gone quite a bit up so im lean more towards it, also vs certain regs openshoving is stupid as limp/raising or minraise (depending on his ranges obv) is much more plus ev.

with 22 and 33, it doesn't make much of a difference wether he is bluffing or not, perhaps a 1% of equity, tops.
