villian raised a lot on the button but this was the first hand with postflop action after 20 hands.
I really have no idea what he calldown to the river and the overbet it so big.
54 is in his check behind range and he could call this down with his double cutshot straight draw maybe or any set?

Stacks:
hero (BTN) (1,955)
BB (1,045)

Blinds: 10/20

Pre-Flop: (30, 2 players) hero is BTN 6 J
hero calls 10, BB checks

Flop: 2 6 8 (40, 2 players)
BB checks, hero bets 20, BB calls 20

Turn: J (80, 2 players)
BB checks, hero bets 60, BB calls 60

River: 3 (200, 2 players)
BB bets 444, hero ???

This is never a fold, only decision between shoving and calling. I would lean toward shoving, since villain is pot committed with any 2 pair, or even any J, or 8.

Also, I have no idea what you mean by "postflop action" (only hand that went past the flop?)

I agree with the above posters. Even though flat --> flat --> OB lead is a super strong line on average I think we're ahead of his range.

this was the first hand we played postflop, the other hands alwys raise fold ...
and one 3bet pot but there he folds on the flop

I thought to push it too, but then i was a little bit worried. Thought its a bluff so he would never call with any worse hands.

it was 33
