Villain was so passive and boring that I almost fall asleep and woke up at 25/50 level. This is 164th hand of the match and his stats were 50/12, he didn't 3bet me once but he did call a lot of my minopens OOP. I was raising practically every button and Cbetting close to 100% and he was very fit or fold post flop. I managed to get a slight advantage over him by the the 25/50 level, when he adapted a bit and started to actually raise and Cbet his buttons. I ran over him at 50/100 level with shoving very wide, got him to t600 but he sucked out on the river and got back in the game with overcards in a hand where I limped the button with 86o and called his shove on 875 flop.

What would you do on the river here against this kind of opponent after he leads out on the river? I rarely slowplay but it seemed to me that it would be OK against this specific villain to check on the turn and make him lead out on the river with his 7, A high, busted draw, weaker 3 maybe. Now when the 6 rolls of on the river completing a potential straight draw as well and he value bets. I almost timed out thinking what to do - call or shove?

i dont like the turn check. i mean he called you on the flop, chances are good that he got something on the flop. you are only giving him a free card for straight + flush draws. i would bet the turn, size is debatable but bet turn for sure imo. chips are too valuable at this stage.

as played...in practice i shove this almost always but theoretically i would say it depends on the villain. i couldnt read out of your description how "light" he is calling on a completed board which you should know after 156hands.

I think it's probably a shove on the river. I'd prefer a small bet on the turn though, can't really see many hands calling the flop and then folding that turn.

I was "wtf?!" when reading the title. And I still am.

Bet turn. Shove river.
Shove river as played.

There isn't even a 4-straight out there. Only 45 completes a straight. There are no possible flushes and we even have a Q kicker ffs.

You might consider minraising here if he's not 3betting and is folding to open raises (not sure if that 50 is VPIP OOP, but if it is, raiiiiise it up all day everyday).

Otherwise, bet on all streets, if you can shove the river all the better.
