This is the first hand of the game. My plan was to bet fold the flop and barrel many turns. But then he goes ahead and donks pot. If he would've donked 1/2 pot I would've considered raising or calling but probably called. Since it's so big though I decided to just fold.
What should I do in this hand?
Personally I would fold this time, but I would note that he is donking flops, I would begin to look for how frequently he's doing it, and start to think about what he's donking with. If he starts check folding or playing very passively when he checks in the future, I can assume his donks are with stronger parts of his range and draws potentially until I see him check calling draws. Important to know if he donks or checks his draws. It will help you further construct his hand ranges based on actions.
