For investors: I'm told I'm going to be receiving a wire/transfer from the casino/Stars to my Stars account in a week or less. I have about 3500 in unused buyins from the roll as well so you guys have a large chunk of cash coming back.

Taxing those percents is kinda standard lately in Europe. If you don't do it, TD or other staff will approach you asking you kindly to give a bit more for the dealers/staff running the tourney.

I see, I just didnt agree with the "because everyone else was doing it." I dont do anything because others are doing it or people are trying to force me to do it. If I feel someone goes above and beyond their standard job duties then I will give them a nice tip but I wouldnt tip just to feel like I fit in.

Yeah, but at the same time, you will interact with the same people again and again on the circuit. Tbh, I don't rly like it either when they approach you if u tip 0.5-1% and they ask you if possible to give more and they even suggest 2-3% minimum.

Ok sorry guys. I miscalculated the %. I tipped 450 Euro out of 23700 which is about 1.8%. I thought I tipped 700 for some reason.

Will post a SS of the transfer from Stars when it arrives.

Transfer arrived. Please double check my math and make sure it's okay.

I used 1100 + 330= 1440. Leaves 3916 Euro (including markup) unused.

3916 + 23250= 27166 Euro in the pool.

Discrepancy between today's exchange rate and last time (I want you to retain your same %):

5000 Euro= 7054.50 dollars today at x 1.1= 7759.95
7759.95 - the price you paid (7650)= $109.95.

109.95= 77.92 EUR

27166 Euro - 78= 27,088

Obviously if the Euro had gone down, I would be giving you extra money.

1%= 270.88 Euro

I am transferring out in Euro so you can convert it yourself. Stars limits my currency exchange to 3k a day and charges no vig.

It has come to my realization that the method I planned on using would have led to a freeroll against me if I cashed for nothing (since I would have refunded a small amount if the Euro had dropped from what you paid). So to make this all work out (and since I have to ship some funds back to FTP), I have a great method for equalizing everything.

I'm simply going to multiply the amount of Euro I owe by the exchange rate I used when securing action. 6954.5/5000= 1.3909. 27166 Euro x 1.3909= $37,785.

1%= 377.85
2%= 755.70
3%= 1133.55
5%= 1889.25
7%= 2644.95
8%= 3022.80
10%= 3778.50
