Selling for the $50k event at 1.2:1. Will require cash or chips in Vegas.

Played on FTP and Stars as Jeetorious, I've been playing professionally since 2007 and mostly mixed games since late 2008, recently spent most of my time in the 100/200-250/500 7-game to 10-game with shots up to 1k/2k and have been a big winner there over the last year leading up to Black Friday. Regulary started games, played just about anyone heads up, impossible to know for sure but I'd be shocked if I wasn't one of the top 10 money winners at 250/500 and below over that time period, pretty good chance of top 5. Have plenty of live experience, rarely play tournaments these days but I used to play a bunch back in 04-06 and I understand the necessary adjustments from cash games to tournies. I played the $50k last year and was confident in an edge, and I'm much improved since then.

Bump to sell this a little bit better...

I think people are wary of the $50k event and assume that the field is very tough and ROIs are small and are hesitant to pay any markup, but this is not the case.

Take the $50k vs a $10k stud event. All of the top players in either format play those events. In a $10k stud event, just about all of the tough mid-stakes and high-stakes specialists in that game are going to find a way in as well. In the $50k event, many of those mid and high stakes 8-game grinders cannot afford the entry. A $10k stud event doesn't have much appeal to specialists in other games or "whales." The $50k event, on the other hand, is an event that none of the big names want to miss out on. The top MTT players, NLHE specialists, PLO specialists, draw specialists, live mixed game specialists (who derive a large part of their edge from badugi, badeucey, badacey, NL 2-7, 2-7 razz, etc.) all want a part in the player's championship. There's also the psychological thought process of "well I'm very good in 2 of the games, and pretty good in 2 others, I'm probably not giving up too much in the other 4, so I"ll play." In a straight stud event, if you're no good at stud there's no way to convince yourself in. Even in an event like the 5k 6-max NLHE, almost the entire field is very competetent and has years of NLHE experience, there isn't much dead money.

There's no way for most people to know this unless they regularly play these games, but there are just very few truly good all-around players in the world. The limit games (outside of LHE) are way less evolved/"solved", people haven't had the time to master 8 games and make so many fundamental mistakes.

When you add all of these things up, and then add in the excellent, slow structure of the $50k, there's no doubt that a good player's ROI is higher in this tournament. PM me if you are interested in a piece.

1.2 MU for a 50k single event is too high (maybe you dont think so) but i mean from an investors point of view

Yeah just from a sheer amount of runners point of view hard to have a really big edge (compared with say a top NLHE player selling at 1.2 in a 2000 runner field). Please excuse my ignorance - and i'm only interested at a lower markup - but do you have any proof of results etc? I understand it's tough due to the nature of the game but do you keep your own records or anything?

Also would be willing to invest but only one payment option makes it a little more difficult.

Best of luck,

One more bump!

I'm now selling at face value, still only accepting cash or chips in Vegas as payment. Minimum 5% ($2500) share for now, I'll update if I start accepting smaller.

Plan is to sell 35k and put up 15k, I have 20k sold at this point so looking for another 15. Depending on how cash games go over the next week or so I might look to sell up to 40k total.

skatemore - what?

Hi Jeetorious,

What is your real name? I would like to do a little background search before investing a fair amount of money into someone. Also, can you show me some sort of database graph or record that supports your winning claim in these games?

Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't have any sort of proof of my winnings, I haven't used any tracking software in years and I don't know of any tracking sites that follow these games. I have my own records of course but I have nothing to back those up but my word. The best I could suggest is if you know or could get in touch with anyone who regularly played the 1/2 to 250/5 games on FullTilt and ask them about me.
