I'm currently travelling Thailand and plan on heading over to play the WPTN Thailand main event Day 1C only.

A little about myself
My name is Kilian Loeffler, I'm 26years old and have been playing poker professionally for about 6years now. When I am not playing online tournaments, I play PLO cashgames around Europe mainly 5/5 and 10/10 and NLH cashgames in Asia 2/5 and 5/10 occasionally higher if they run any. I've been playing 8 live tournament stops around asia this year, yet to have a big cash. Definately feal very comfortable in the live-tournament environment though.
Lately I've been mainly working on my game and playing online cash for the last about 3-4months, only travelling to jeju for WPTN Korea where I finished 2nd in a 6max side, only have played the main and 6max there.


The Main event is a 4day event with 1 re-entriy per day allowed, I plan on firing up to 2bullets, playing day 1C.
Day 1C is starting on 26th December.

There is absolutely no info anywhere online about this series. Can you tell me how many runners they got for the main and some of the sides if you can? I'm flying off the the next one (WPT Cambodia) and I'm curious to see what I'll be up against. Thanks.

Would be hard to get the expected number of players as this would be the first time ever for both Thailand and Cambodia. I'm going to Cambodia. It may parallel the usual APT (Asian Poker Tour) numbers (under 200 main entries), maybe a bit more.

Thanks for the response. I'm guessing you haven't played in the Thailand event so 200 is just a guess. Looking at the Facebook page of Avi Cohen, it looks like the event is not attracting a lot of players. Most pics show no more than 3 tables for the most part. I'm thinking Cambodia main will have less than 60 players since it is more difficult to get to than Poipet. I think some of the sides could be two or 3 table sit & gos. I wish there was a page that would update the results from Thailand, but nothing on WPT.com. With Robetoblanco getting sick, my only chance to get a live report went up in smoke!
