Just got back from the Beau Rivage in Boloxi.

I finished $400 down for the trip, but managed to come back with a decent story...

So, sitting at the poker table, it's 4am, and a slightly overweight black man with a ketchup stain on his white t-shirt walks up and takes a seat. There's even a half eaten Mcdonalds french fry crusted into his scruffy beard. For a moment I am completely appalled, but as the man whips out a NOIR MGM card I am amazed to be sitting by a man that gives the casino one million dollars of action a year on table games. This guy is the purest form of degen...so degen that he is rich and even with all that $$$ he does not care about appearance. Action is the only thing left for him in this world.

Now we get onto gambling and him and I are in a big pot. I lead out with a set...he raises...and I ship all in because I am charging max value for a flush draw. The man stands up and says, "God Damn. I just knew I wasn't supposed to be in here today. How much is it?"

"$500," I reply.

Then he says, "Can I ask you a question?"...and this is the point where I would normally stone face my opponent like I get stone faced every time I try to make one of those ladies at the secretary of state laugh.

But, this guy is such a body of degen art, I just know he's going to ask something incredible.

He asks me what month I am born in.

I reply, "Janurary."

All of a sudden the man looks like he's been gripped by fear and he folds instantly.

I'm like..."Why did you fold?"

I do tell him that Wednesday is definitely the day I have won the most on and the dealer agrees to run the next two cards just to see if the degen would have hit his flush draw.

The next two cards are blanks and I would have indeed won the pot.

As the dealer starts to scoop the cards back in to shuffle the man looks me square in the eyes and says, "That's why I don't fukk with the stars."

Within 1 hour into the session, here's what happened to me.
