About Me
My name is Gerald (Jerry) Cohen, I also go by bill. I am from Oakland, CA and have been playing poker for over 15 years (6+ professionally). This is my 7th WSOP trip and I couldn’t be more stoked for everything ahead of me. This is going to be my biggest year yet, in so many different ways.

About myPOKERself
I started playing poker way back in the Party Poker days, around 2002. Ever since then I have been trying to learn, improve, and grow as much as possible every day. I started playing SNG's for the first few years of my career. Now I mainly play MTT's and SNG's on Bovada with some cash sprinkled in to maintain. I also play live cash, and sell pieces to big live tournaments in my area when they are in town. Over the last 8 years I have spent a decent amount of time in the live arena and have posted some nice scores throughout CA and NV. I love everything about this never ending learning process that is known as poker, and I will keep pushing myself to learn more until I die or the earth explodes.

I study 3 times per week by reading books, watching videos, and reviewing HH's with friends. I also have 3 poker students who I meet with 2-4 times per month and do lessons mostly based in HH review. I am around poker all the time, it is my main focus in life right now. I already have housing for the whole series and my goal is to eat right, sleep right, exercise and make good decisions every day until we all have all of the monies.

I've known Jerry for about 15 years now. He is really amazing at playing small ball and navigating soft live MTT fields, as his results show. He somehow manages to turn a table of annoying live players into his friends whenever he plays, and uses it to his advantage.
