My name is Tyler Short and I am a 26 year old professional poker player. I am looking to sell 70% of myself in the main event at the Borgata WPT in New Jersey on January 25th. I am just taking reserves for the time being as there is a chance I will be unable to play as it is dependent on whether a friend will be able to join me. I will take reserves for now and give the go ahead to send on Jan 19th when I know for sure that I am able to play.

Background Info

I have been playing poker for the past decade and it has been my main income source since around 2009. I have a lot of experience playing live poker with most of that being 2/5-5/10 nlhe.

Prior to black friday I grinded 90% heads up nlhe cash usually at stakes ranging from 1/2 to 5/10. After black friday I decided I didn't really want to leave the country, so for the past 3 years or so I have been staked by Imawhale (The biggest backing operation in the US) on US sites and currently play up to 5/10 nlhe hu and 6max. Over that time I have had control of 5 figures at all times with no issues. I have a very high respect for backers and their investment and you can always know that your money will be safe.

Results

Majority of my hands on US sites over the past year.



Also have had some nice tournament results to end the year including a win on merge for $1750 in a 1k person field, a 2nd in a Bovada GSPO event for almost 13k, a win in a small field 6max event on Bovada, and then some other deep runs/final tables.





I have made a handful of other final tables and wins on US sites in the past couple years as well. I feel very good about my tournament game and my poker game in general at the moment.

Payment

I can accept BOA and potentially cash at the event/paypal.

Taxes

If I make a deep run then investors will need to provide appropriate tax forms, otherwise I will have to withhold 30%.
