Hello. My name is Alan Sternberg. This is my first time selling shares, as I was staked until about a month ago. I left the stake after winning a WPT, but I am selling action now because I am trying to be nitty with my bankroll, especially with the current status of internet poker. I feel very good about how I'm playing right now and have done well recently in some high buy-in tournaments with large fields and good structures.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to Madrid. It depends on a few things, including the response I get here. Assuming I do play, I will accept money in Madrid if possible, or we can do a wire transfer. I'll let everyone know within a few days if I am playing.

I've been playing poker professionally for 3 or 4 years with pretty steady online tournament results (grebnrets86 on Stars and Maxine Waters on Full Tilt), and I've been playing live tournaments on a semi-regular basis since 2010, with a WPT Bay 101 win last month and good results in a fairly small sample before that.

Stats:
Hendon DB stats
Pokerstars OPR
Full Tilt OPR

As far as references go, I was staked by Brent Roberts (broberts06 on 2+2) for the past year or so. I will ask him to check his inbox each of the next few days in case anyone wants to contact him. As I said, this is my first time selling my action here, so Brent is the only reference I have. I do know a number of 2+2 regulars, but I have not conducted business with any of them. I am pretty sure no one would have anything bad to say about me though. I did dig up this thread from a few years ago which shows me honoring a verbal agreement with a stranger.

Anyway, looking to sell shares to several events, using the exchange rate of $1.4838 US = €1 EURO, rounding down to make things easier. Markup varies by event.

Event #1 - Looking to sell 80% at 1.15 markup - NL Holdem High Roller - €25,500 ($37,836)

1% = €293 = $435
5% = €1,465 = $2,175
10% = €2,930 = $4,350

I won't be playing this event unless I can sell at least 70%, so given the cost and the limited, notice, I don't expect to be playing this unless at least one person buys a big chunk.

Event #5 - Looking to sell up to 30% at 1.4 markup - Main Event - €10,600 ($15,728)

1% = €148 = $220
5% = €740 = $1,100
10% = €1,480 = $2,200

Assuming I do go to Madrid, I will be playing this event regardless of how much action I sell.

Event #26 - Looking to sell 80% at 1.1 markup - NLHE Turbo High Roller - €10,300 ($15,283)

1% = €113 = $168
5% = €565 = $840
10% = €1,130 = $1,680

Like the other high roller event, I probably won't play this unless I can sell close to 80%.

I might add other events to sell pieces of, but outside of these I will likely just play smaller buy-in events that I will want to keep 100% of my action in.
Also, as mentioned before, I am not entirely sure if I will even be going to Madrid. I will let people know as soon as I know and before accepting money from anyone, of course.
