I think it is about time for another "Battle of Bay". Is anyone else interested in this?
I could host, but I don't really live in the Bay, I live near Tracy.

I'm down. My poker den is no more, so I can't host, but I'm in for a game.
I'm not going to Tracy for it, tho'.

<Sigh> If I could get my old place in Livermore back, I'd be there.
I miss the Bay Area.

Pleasanton/San Ramon would be a good location.

so this battle of the bay. it's a tournament for bragging rights, or a cash game that people can show up late for and leave early?
How many people showed up last time (there was a last time)?
Could it simply be at an amenable bar?

SosMan did a couple of these at his place in Fremont (IIRC, or thereabouts). The last one I went to was probably ~2007 and had ~20 people.

The last one had 15 or 16 I think. They did cash game first, then tournament, then more cash game for the bustouts. Oh, and waffles.

I have to make a business trip to The City sometime in the next month or two - what date should I schedule my visit to St. Francis Memorial?

We need a centralized location, is there anyone willing to host around the 680 corridor? San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, or near there? Don't we have any former PeopleSoft Execs with Huge houses willing to host in this forum?

Hey guys,
I might be able to provide the place. It's in Livermore.
Got pretty much all the stuff too. Would need more cash game chips with multiple cash games running or limits above .50 bb
I've pm'ed C-Dog about some specific's and possible dates.
Just need some ideas on how to convince the wife this is a good idea. So......

Okay,
I can host this on Nov. 21st. I can handle up to 30 players. Best I can do on start time is1:00 pm
I'm at the east end of Livermore - out near the lab for those that know where that is.
Pretty easy to get to my place from 580.

let us know if you need any help setting up. I can help out with 600 cash game chips, and a folding table if it comes to that.
