Obviously this is what I was getting at yesterday. I dont understand collecting money for tournaments that you will not be playing, unless there is something underhanded going on. I would like a full refund as well, i have PM'd names to you already. Please take care of this today.

I always saw it as kind of implied that some tournies would be skipped just based on previous packages... I agree with your idea to adjust to winning/losing accordingly to maximize investors profit, I see nothing wrong with that. I think something went EXTREMELY wrong somewhere in the time 2p2 was down. It's not my job to point and accuse of what it could be but something went wrong. I have to agree with the earlier posts.... it seems like an attempt to "float" the refunds of investors into a new package in hopes of binking a score to cover what is owed to everyone. I don't know if you have a plan to cover what is owed or not but some kind of plan of what you plan on doing would be great. You have a great rep on this site and I hope it works out so we can continue to invest.

the thing that bothered me is this.Rico is a great player and with those missining buyins for the package odds are he would off been able to get back to even or win.So we are out because theres not enough to cover tournaments,not becuase he was in so many games or already cashed and was tired from hard work.That is the only thing that makes this deal wrong and to me kills any arguements that can be made against giving the full return.If Rico was some donk that would never be able to come back from a bad start or had no chance of winning i wouldnt care as much.His own ability is why im so much madder about the tournaments that where skipped and makes the lack of funds inexcusable.I wouldnt be mad if he played the 60 and or 109 and didnt cash,i would feel i got a fair shake.But this isnt a fair schedule for the abount of money we invested and where owed..please just return original owed money and will gladly continue to buy action,but this needs to be resolved today.if you dont have the funds tell us ,its fine but an honest attempt needs to be made.

i was going to post asking you (rico/warrenbuffet) to PM me if you ran this package next Thursday, as I missed out yesterday. i guess i'll throw a few of my thoughts in to the fray:

-As an investor, I want it to be very clear ahead of time if any tournaments might be skipped, and which tournaments specifically have this possibility.
-I disagree that you should end a package early if you are in profit. An investor has paid for EVERY tournament in the package. If you are +ev in a tournament you sold, early results in the package (good or bad) SHOULD NOT have an impact on the rest of the package. If you make money early, ride the confidence and make more money later.
-If you do not have the full value of the package secured BEFORE starting, the package should be voided and refunds given.

All that being said, if this was an honest mistake and actions are made to correct it properly, I would still be interested in this package next Thursday.

I'm wondering if him selling off funds on P5s and continuing to play made him come up short with the original packages returns. Is this what happened? Then the attempt to recover funds was made by making everyone roll over to this package. You were hoping to score big early, end the package and save face?

If Rico is not reading this rail someone needs to email him and have him come on here and start explaining.

agree with both posts... definitely valid points. and MRM27 your thoughts agree with my theory. If it works out everything is fine but if it doesn't you are in this current situation.

^^^I wouldn't go that far, yet. But the lack of communication on his half is getting very ridiculous.

It's sort of like he hit, didn't think the pack would count since 2+2 was down. Basically Freerolled it. Gets called out on it. Doesn't have the funds to cover. Forces rollovers and the plan disintegrated with a quick swing and miss in those first few tourneys yesterday. He didn't have funds to finish the pack, now where do the funds to repay people come from.

He did log into 2+2 this evening but decided to ignore this thread. As nice of a guy and everyone thinks he is at some point a Moderator will have to address him and this thread. The sad part is I called this happening yesterday morning and didn't post it here as to not stir the pot. Come on here and be honest, say what happened. I'm just hoping he doesn't come back blaming us for jumping to conclusions and that his silence is due to some grave emergency. That would be very convinient.

Hey, people make mistakes, but this is nothing you can't fix. Just come back and tell us how you want to work this out.

I'm with you peldini... mistakes happen and this is not something that can't be resolved. I have no grudge or anything but avoiding us with no explanation is unacceptable imo. Hell I'd even probably continue to invest in the future once this is sorted out.
