Ok, just to make that clear (and maybe to lessen my image as a super-douche
):
He was playing a $100sth. qual for the WCOOP. That tourney paid out 80 seats. Once the seats were won, the remaining 80 players continued to play the qualifier down to first, for the sole reason that the KO's ($22 worth each), that were included in that qualifier would be played out. So once u win ur seat (which he did by playing good as he normally does
), the only way u can win extra money in that qual is by knocking some other of the last 80 players out. What i saw (i didn't follow that closely though tbh) was a ton of folding on his part - even in the bb when two shorties pushed for less than his chips.
So in mind it is optimal to gamble alot once someone shorter is allin, since not only do u get that bounty immediately but also keep a healthy stack for future bounties. He finally got knocked out in 16sth. with the smallest stack at that time...
Anyway, just my 2cents...
GL in the WCOOP!!! TID
EDIT: dam, my longest post ever on 2+2, and u explained urself at the same time! No worries man, understandable than...
