Hey guys

I found this chart- might be helpful to you guys. Can someone tell me what is the cheapest non- TN monitor I can find that is 1900x1200 (or 1900x 1080) in Canada?

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/Master_Monitors_List_24"

Thanks

You guys seem pretty into the 1980x1200 monitor over the 1080. Would you suggest just getting the 28" hanns g, or should i go with two 1980x1080 ~22" monitors for the same price?

This deal just got sweeter. Promo code EMCLWNW26 gets you another $10 off, and free shipping. Makes the price $200 before the $20 rebate, and that's shipped.

Think I'm going to pick up a pair of them unless someone has a reason I should avoid them. Reviews I've seen for these units have been mostly positive.

i have this monitor. first one i bought so i could dual-screen with my laptop and it was great. ofc you're not going to get the same color/angle as a pva or ips monitor but it does what it's made for. you can rotate the screen vertically only, but i don't see that as an issue. u can't rotate screen 90 degree angle to make it vertical like the pva panels though.

Looks like a great find IMO, thanks for sharing it, I'm gonna pick one up. Very sweet deal for what seems to be a great monitor. By my math, 2048 x 1152 fits 3 x 4 minimum-size tables with room to spare. I'll be using it alongside my old 1600x1200 Dell, I think that stuff will get a little bigger or smaller going between the screens but I don't think that'll be a problem.

Meant to say 1900x1200, thought it would be inferred from the 1900x1080 vs x1200 chat, my b

EDIT: Also, if looking for 22-24s that are not Widescreen (which everything seems to be), where/what to look at?

I have the same monitors (2 of them) for 3+ years. Worked great for EQ2 when I played and great for 8 tables with no over lap.

looks ok, resolution is good, lots of 5 star ratings. I would read the lower ratings and decide on that, and search for a product review on the internet.

Might be an issue w/ text looking blocky at that resolution but 28"

Yeah I read a ton of reviews, seems for the casual computer user it is a good purchase, but for an artistic user it is pretty subpar. Hoping not to have any issues (white screen seems to be an issue after a few days/weeks, and dead pixels occassionally), but the majority are good reviews.

Gonna pick one up
