just picked up a 3rd monitor. seems impossible to find any 30" monitors in retail stores around the Toronto area these days. I searched long and hard and couldnt find any. I purchased my 2 dell 30's a year or so ago, and it seems they are mostly discontinued.

Anyways, I picked up a 25.5" Acer, with DVI/HDMI ports on the back. This actually pretty damn good, and cheap as well ($280). Very impressed with its quality/size/price. Would highly recommend it as a cheap alternative, and easily found large screen. Biggest monitor i saw in bustbuy/tigerdirect/future shop. Have an xbox hooked up through DVI on it, and it looks awesome.

Anybody have a recommendation as to the best 22"-23" monitor for around $200 or under? Just looking for some extra screen space for multi-tabling, nothing spectacular, but good res. is always nice.

I had a 24" Samsung repaired & returned within a week I think. But that's in Euro-land.

What do I need to run three Monitors?

Ok currently I have a HP w2408H (1920X1200) the plan was to always buy another one. I have been looking for this exact monitor and it is still $450. I figure why spend $450 on one when I can spend $500 on two. Thus I plan on buying two new T240HD 24” (1920X1200) for around $500 for the pair. I figure is two is good three is better. What do I need to run this set up? Current video card only can run two monitors.

Just bought this...
http://www.overstock.com/Electronics...rchtype=Header

It's a refurb, and my video card will need to be upgraded to power it but considering my resolution is currently 1024x768 this is going to make a world of difference and my ignorant eyes pleased beyond belief. Thanks to everyone for their advice in previous posts. Very helpful in making my decision.

There is a decent number of reports that 1 year is the lifespan of the Hanns-G 28.

I currently use four 21 inch LCD's. In the market for an upgrade to three 32 inch LCD widescreens. Open to suggestions from anyone using three 32 inch LCD widescreens.

Thanks in advance

Basically you can but it will be absolutely awful resolution. You basically will not even be able to read the numbers one tabling.

I think its because tvs and monitors use different signals (pal vs 1024x800 or w/e). Max res on the tv is like 640x480 or something cuz TVs only have like 4 or 5 hundred lines of res . Someone who knows this can probably explain it better but thats what i understand.

I have a whole heap of movies on my computer and often hook it up to my tv for watching them but that is literally all it is good for (even then it doesnt look that great but meh).
